The 2016 New Hampshire presidential primary is well over a year away, but there's a new poll about the Democratic contenders that gives Hillary Clinton a huge lead.
The 2016 New Hampshire presidential primary is well over a year away, but there's a new poll about the Democratic contenders that gives Hillary Clinton a huge lead.

62 percent of voters said they would cast their ballot for Clinton if the Democratic primary were held today. Trailing behind, 13 percent said they would vote for Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, six percent said Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, and five percent said Vice President Joe Biden.

That’s because this early in a Presidential cycle name recognition drives the polls. Its basically meaningless at this point.
The big Dem donors want Elizabeth Warren.

What do you think Hillary would be up in Utah, Alabama, Wyoming, California? 50% at least.
Of course, and the same could have been said in 2006, with maybe John Edwards drawing better in the South. Dukakis wasn't on any radar in 1986, and James Earl Carter was an asterisk in the polls in '74, despite his early jump (Scoop Jackson, Ted Kennedy, HHH and George Wallace) all outscoring him.
Evan Bayh could be a respectable general election candidate, but as the left-moderate Dems get purged, the remaining Super Delegates move farther left. Their delegate quotas for the remainder also ensure that nutbars are over-represented, which is why HRC OR Warren are credible.
