Police are investigating the possibility that a 12-year-old San Francisco girl who has been missing for almost two weeks is a victim of sex trafficking.
Imani Howell was last seen getting onto a 19-Polk bus for school on Nov. 10, police said. People have reported seeing her in the Mission District and along Oaklands International Boulevard, known hot spots for the trafficking of young girls.

Kalipornia alternative lifestyles
This to me is the disturbing part.
Like this never happens anywhere else?
Kalipornia schools basically tell kids to have sex or they’re weirdo’s
Amazing that the police saw her and did nothing? What? Since when do police notice 12 year olds in areas like this and do ZIP?
Which has nothing to do with this. Child prostitution rings are run by hardened criminals (often immigrants) to make money, period. And they are everywhere in the US.
You just know that Kevin Collins, missing nearly 30yrs,was picked up by a pedophile in the Haight-Asbury district.
I still think of that kid, as I lived only a few blocks away from where he was taken.

.
You’ve never been to Frisco???
.
It says people saw her. I don’t see where police did. I would assume they may have seen her picture and told the cops, “Oh yeah, I saw her”. Maybe other prostitutes?
The park panhandle is definitely a place to keep kids away from.
.
It’s Oakland.
You have to be from around here to understand it, I guess.
Unless they can find a reason, the police’s hands are tied. If they created a reason, many in the black community would cry racism.
I agree however not iust a pedophile but a child porn ring. 1 or 2 spotted Kevin and snatched him. I have no doubt he is dead. I pray this little girl is found. I also pray that every sick pervert gets death.
Makes me also wonder also if the Mexican Drug Cartel are playing a role in this. First their business was Drug Smuggling, then Smuggling people into the US. Perhaps they expanded their business into sex trafficking.
Yes, I agree...if they’re “known spots,” why aren’t the police out there? Of course, we are talking about SF - and I’m assuming the little girl, judging by her name, was black, which means that nobody in SF cares. Including the black population, which is too busy killing each other and using drugs to care about their children.
Years ago my Brother=in-law visited us from Germany. We took him to the Mexican border(no longer Mexico/American border). My daughter was then about three years old. She was standing near me. An American border guard came up to me and said “I would pick up the child if I were you, as they will grab her and run into Mexico.” We left immediately. The conquering Mexican’s are now taking American children for their sexual purposes. They rob and steal from American’s, they kill our citizens on the highways, they fill our stupid kids with drugs, they assault our people and hurl insults at us. As the Gaul said to the protesting vanquished Roman; “Woe to the conquered.”
We do not even have the strength to resist. At one time Vigilance Committee’s stopped the crime that public officials could or would not stop, today we simply whine.(If that much.)
I don't think the police saw her. Article says people saw her and reported that. When police are present, they do crack down on prostitutes and johns in the Mission District, probably around 18th and Treat Streets area. Not far from a local police station. Latino gangs have infiltrated the area over the last thirty years and made it a worrisome place at night. Drivable at night and walkable during the day. These aren't gays - they're across town in the Castro. These are hardened criminals, often having guns. You don't mess with them, maybe even if you're a cop. Latinos wearing the wrong colors get jumped by opposing gangs. Even then, prevalent in every city and probably worse elsewhere.
