The Ferguson, Mo., grand jury considering the indictment of Officer Darren Wilson, who killed teenager Michael Brown during an altercation in August, left the justice center in St. Louis on Friday without reaching a decision.

Sources told CNN on Saturday that it was unclear when the jury would reconvene.

The issue before the Grand Jury is whether there has been an offense that they should present by indictment. If they have not indicted anyone, after three months of investigating, it would seem pretty obvious that they found no offense.

Since it is manifestly not their role to determine guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and--in Ohio, I know--it takes only 12 of the 15 Grand Jurors to indict, and there are time limitations within which they are supposed to act, I strongly suspect that there is no intention for the Ferguson Grand Jury to reassemble. Their investigation is probably as complete as it is ever going to be.

Whoever talked to the media may just be being coy, so as not to light the fuse that the agitators are expecting.

isn’t that pretty much the same as no indictment?

No. It just means they're not finished yet. They were still hearing witnesses up until this past week, and they still need some time to deliberate.

They'll probably finish up and come up with a decision in the next few weeks sometime.

Not really. These jurors know what’s going on and they aren’t ready for riots, IMO.

The lefties would like to think that it means that some of the jurors want to indict. I don’t think they can just wait out the bolsheviki because the Communists, Anarchists and Jihadists who have flooded into the area have essentially unlimited financing to hang around so long as needed. These are professionals. They are working for a living fomenting riots and, it is hoped, Revolution. Their employers are the Foundations, Saudis, NGOs and individual Billionaires who are attempting to usher in a formal Oligarchy. The Billionaires think they will rule after the Constitution’s remaining scraps are incinerated. They are wrong. At best they will get a Mussolini. At worst they will get a continuation and formalization of the Sultanate.

They don’t need to kill Wilson. They need him indicted ant then alive to keep his existence in front of the bolshevik pawns and keep them destroying property and, it is hoped, police and business owners as well as Citizens.

C’mon folks make a decision—you have rioters here than are waiting to riot—they’re getting antsy

He has got away with the little amnesty. It will take one more in that particular progression, say widening it to include all who are physically present in the USA. When he gets away with that, citizenship by decree will follow and then any damned thing he wants to do, including, say redefining the Senate to be composed of 1 Senator from each state and 1 for each state appointed by the Sultan and decreeing that the President, while being elected more or less normally, will serve under the Sultan. That all can be done by formally setting the Constitution aside or by amending it by decree or by simply ignoring it. The Republicans will raise their voices but not lift a finger to stop any of it. Any of this may be aborted but it will depend on citizens with guns and State Governments that take their cue from CWGs, and on a Military that is not totally subverted.

Failing to reach a decision? No decision is a decision, right?

All that accomplishes is to turn the little bastards (literally) loose on the streets.

I’m hoping the barricades going up around the police headquarters indicates that the decision will be released this weekend or Monday. No telling, though.

I think the grand jury should wait till there is a foot of snow on the ground and the temperature is in the teens, most of the thugs will go inside. They will forget about it before they get back out again.

Ideally, I think, as per another's comment, the no bill will be announced on Thanksgiving Day or on the day after. Christmas Eve might tactically be best but that would be apt to disrupt Christmas for the Citizens.
It should not be delayed overlong, though because the riot preparation costs mount rapidly as business have to maintain preparedness.

“Ferguson grand jury fails to reach decision on Darren Wilson indictment”

This is typical CNN garbage.

The GJ didn’t “fail” at anything, they simply went home for the weekend.

Did someone buy someone off or something...or to some liberals facts aren’t important. Either way, this is going to be a tense week.

Well, that’s enough reason for a good Saturday night riot/shopping spree.

I was on a Federal Grand Jury for 18 months. The members of a GJ listen to the evidence presented and decide whether or not there is enough and the right evidence to take the case to trial. So......either the person is indicted or they are not. Simple as that.

No reason to stop there. He can just issue a death sentence by executive order, no one wants to confront the emperor.
