Since it is manifestly not their role to determine guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and--in Ohio, I know--it takes only 12 of the 15 Grand Jurors to indict, and there are time limitations within which they are supposed to act, I strongly suspect that there is no intention for the Ferguson Grand Jury to reassemble. Their investigation is probably as complete as it is ever going to be.
Whoever talked to the media may just be being coy, so as not to light the fuse that the agitators are expecting.

It takes 9 of the 12 GJ in MO. Good article.

The Grand Jury will reconvene on Monday per St. Louis local news. This Grand Jury was impaneled for 4 months prior to the shooting. Their term was to have already expired, but was extended till early in January 2015.
It takes 9 out of 12 for a true bill in Missouri. Less than that results in a No bill. The prosecutor is presenting every scrap of evidence that he knows of. The GJ can also ask for whatever additional info they feel they need. (St. Louis news has not indicated that they are finished with the evidence phase).
Then they review and when ready, vote. IIRC, 9 whites and 3 blacks on this GJ.
