A high profile gay rights activist and Democrat fundraiser has been charged with sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy with his boyfriend.
Terry Bean, 66, co-founded two of the biggest national campaign groups and raised more than $500,000 for Barack Obama's 2012 re-election bid.
He was arrested at his home in southwest Portland on Wednesday and indicted with two counts of third-degree sodomy and one count of third-degree sex abuse.

That’s right. Pretending these untreated mental patients are “normal” is exposing a lot of minor males to sexual assaults.
They are absolutely NOT distinctions without a difference.
Calling these cases pedophilia disguises, obscures and hides the essential HOMOSEXUAL nature of 90% of these cases wrongly called pedophilia.
Pedophilia specifically pertains to PRE-puberty children, male of female. NOT to POST-puberty teenagers.
And 90% of them are HOMOSEXUALS targeting teenage BOYS.
He’s already playing the victim card saying that it came out because he was being blackmailed. What his defenders neglect to mention in the press is that he was being “blackmailed” to prevent disclosure that someone had found a secret video camera that was recording gay trysts in a bedroom in his house.
Scandal on top of scandal on top of scandal.
Who knows, the whole Anglosphere seems to be getting naughty.
Quite of few of organizing activists are pederasts but we aren't supposed to jump to the conclusion that their goal is legalized man-boy love.

Well, when you look at the genders involved, that tells you what variety of pedophilia is involved. Homopedophilia or heteropedophilia.
The archetypical clergy abuse incident, yes, is more priest on boy than priest on girl.
It ultimately points to an emptiness of soul. Salvation is the only thing that will save, if you may indulge my redundancy here.
Secular liberalism with perversion mixed in forms a religion for these sad souls.

To see this happen in churches (and the scuttlebutt I am hearing, whether true or not, is that it’s about of equal prevalence in Roman Catholic and other Christian denominations) indicates that the church has far to go even to help its own ministers (let alone its laity) get such a large measure of Christ that they will overcome these pernicious habits while still on earth. I’m not even saying get married, although St. Paul advises it as one haven from immorality.
Marriage certainly isn’t for everyone, and when deviants marry to hide it (as one of our former governors did here in NJ) the results can be catastrophic.
There’s a difference between hiding and healing.
A soul mate in such a situation would be one who is aware of the difficulty and convinced of the partner’s sincerity in wanting to put his old perversion behind him. And would need to be a very spiritually strong person, not just nice.
The question now is, how many kids did he molest there?
He’s actually really cute for an older man.

The lad should be grateful that a good-looking, in shape, powerful older man graced him with attention. Hell, the guy has money. I’ll bet he was generous with the boy and bought him some outstanding gifts.
(Isn’t that how we rate female abusers around here? I’ve surrendered to the standards of FR and I’m now going to rate men who abuse boys with guilty or not guilty based on their appearance and status.)
Even in the case of the “Man Boy Love Association”.
It’s normal to start the lifestyle, often with a much older partner, when you are 15, 16, sometimes even younger. Often it doesn’t get reported.
