The FBI arrested two men Thursday night accused of purchasing explosives they apparently planned to use during protests in Ferguson, Missouri, a law enforcement source told CBS News.
The men, who live in the St. Louis area, are allegedly members of the new Black Panthers. They were arrested as part of an FBI undercover operation near Ferguson and intended to use the explosives in pipe bombs, the source confirmed.
The suspects, whose names were not released, were arraigned in federal court on Friday.
FBI spokeswoman Rebecca Wu told CBS News the suspects were arrested on outstanding warrants.
Within days, a grand jury investigating the Aug. 9 shooting death of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown is expected to decide whether white Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson should face criminal charges.
The FBI said Friday it has deployed about 100 agents to the St. Louis area ahead of the decision, in case demonstrators take to the streets as they did after Brown's death.

Well, that would explain the MASSIVE response in the last few days, with Nat Guard armored vehicles and 100 FBI agents being sent in.

0bama administration puts out its marching orders to create chaos and a race war. All the race pimps are there; radical groups are encouraged to participate. The FBI is operating under 0bama are there to infiltrate the groups and steer them into trouble and foment violence.
The FBI is probably giving dis-info to CBS in an attempt to show that the FBI is doing its job. In all likelihood, the FBI just planted these explosives on the group.
When I was in the 9th infantry at Ft. Lewis I had a friend that was a Black Panther leader I guess he was drafted (but i don’t remember), you should have seen the reaction when we entered black bars, first there would be attitude about the white guy, and then he would speak to the owner or bartender alone, and often in private, and they would start kow towing to him, like he was a Mafia Chief, they were afraid of him.
It was fascinating watching the power that he had.
