My apologies for the vanity, but I hope my Freeper friends will indulge me.
The dream started for me when I was still in high school. The hard work and planning started soon after. As conditions deteriorated, and my country of birth continued to leave me with few options, the plans became more clear, and turned to action. First find the right job, then to Europe for 2 years, and then on to our new home.
And finally, after 17 years of planning, and carefully walking the path we had planned, we landed in Atlanta to begin our new future. Another 10 years later, we proudly took the oath of citizenship, and declared our loyalty to the United States of America. 27 years in the making, and it was as rewarding as it was emotional. We had other options, but this was the only other country for us, the country my grandfather called blessed by God, and sharing many of the values I grew up with.
In my time here, I hope that I have made a significant contribution to the USA as a whole, by bringing specific skills and knowledge, and also in my community. My children are being raised only as Americans, and I insist that they be respectful and proud, and thankful for the opportunity afforded us by the greatest country on earth.
Tonight, the president made a mockery of our journey, as he did for everyone like us, who worked long and hard, spent hard earned money to lawfully immigrate and did it the right way. He betrayed the people of the United States, and the oath of office he has taken twice. Whatever his reasons may be, tonight he insulted many more than he illegally granted amnesty to.
I am sad and angry, and more determined than ever to help root out the idea that America needs anything other than its own great people, who respect the laws and traditions, to continue to be the greatest country on earth. The foreign ideologies that the Rats continue to try and foist on us has failed everywhere else.
Again, I apologize for the vanity, but needed to vent. God bless the USA.

I’m proud of you. Just as my great great grandparents were legal immigrants to our country, I am proud to stand with you and any American who came here legally and openly to claim the American dream. Legal immigrants are people of great passion with an ingrained spirit of perserverance. They are Americans.
Obama hates America. He hates everthing it stands for and has deviously for six years sought to undermine it at every turn.

OBAMA’S UNCONSTITUTIONAL AMNESTY TO MIGRANTS THAT ARE LIVING ILLEGALLY IN THE U.S.A.
After destroying the best health care system in the world, Obama is determined to grant wide amnesty to foreigners living illegally in U.S. If Obama wants to make the U.S. into another banana republic, it seems he is well underway to reaching his goal.
The Republicans must make it perfectly clear that Obama has declared a merciless war against the American workers and the middle class of America. There are 92 million of able Americans out of the work force because they cannot find employment and Obama wants to legalize and give work permits to over 11 million illegal aliens allowing them to bring here the rest of their families. In other words, another 25 or 30 million that either will compete with Americans and legal immigrants searching for scarce jobs or are going to be added to welfare, bankrupting Medicaid and the food stamp system as well as ruining even more the quality of the public schools with the massive infuse of hundreds of thousands of children without speaking English to already overburdened schools systems.
Blacks are going to be the main collateral victims of Obama's anti-Black amnesty. Black Americans are already suffering higher unemployment since Obama took power. Obama’s new class of protected immigrants will take over their jobs and Blacks will be forced to share their welfare checks and food stamps with them
