'The View's' Rosie O'Donnell vs. All of Her Co-Hosts Over Bill Cosby Rape Allegations (Video)
The Wrap ^ | November 20, 2014 | Ryan O'Connell

Posted on 11/20/2014 3:49:17 PM PST by EveningStar

It appeared to be three against one during Thursday morning's "The View" as the co-hosts weighed in once again on the rape allegations surrounding Bill Cosby. While the majority of the panel was cautious of rushing to judgment, Rosie O'Donnell seemed to have her mind made up over whether or not Cosby's accusers are telling the truth.

"There are lots of allegations, starting in 1969," O'Donnell said. "There are many, many, many and it's very hard, I think, for any of us to discuss Bill Cosby in this context."

Rosie Perez questioned the rationale behind networks who have already dropped their projects with Cosby, saying: "NBC and Netflix and TVLand are responding to the mob who are very upset with the allegations. I think that's a big, big statement."

"Do you think that that's a wrong statement of the corporations?" O'Donnell asked.

With the number of women coming forward you about have to say these were ‘legitimate rapes’. All these women can’t be making this up. Secondly, if allegations are true, this in my mind, makes Cosby like Sandusky. Puttin on the front of helping these young ladies with caring and pills. And just like in the Sandusky case, where is his wife in all this? She had to know.

She isn’t one of those women who grooms herself to look like a little girl, you have to give her that.

Then why did Cosby settle a lawsuit with a woman who claimed he drugged and raped her?

Cosby is being destroyed because he dares to publicly state black kids, and males especially, are lazy and stupid and they have no daddy. He challenges them to grow up and be an intelligent man with a job and actually MARRY his girlfriend.

Exactly right. Rats are making an example of a black man who went off the plantation. Nothing but unprovable, decades-old allegations by white women - as if he ever needed to force a woman to do anything, let alone go for an underage one. It's so obviously a lie it's pathetic.

Why don’t you look up something rather than posting inaccurate claims?

You have more proof that Cosby drugged and raped Constand in 2004, than you do that Clinton raped Juanita Broaddrick 20 years before that, in 1984.

Constand went to the police, the DA believes her story to this day, ten or thirteen other women came forward to tell of his similar rapes and Cosby settled out of court with her. Much more evidence than we accept in the Clinton rape claim.

Here is just about the only that Cosby has said about this, it sounds very Clintonesque.

“”Through the years, Cosby has only given one interview on Constand’s accusations – to The National Enquirer, which ran in March 2005.

“Looking back on it, I realize that words and actions can be misinterpreted by another person,” Cosby told the tabloid, “and unless you’re a supreme being, you can’t predict what another individual will do.

“I’m not saying that what I did was wrong, but I apologize to my loving wife, who has stood by my side for all these years, for any pain I have caused her,” he told the Enquirer. “These allegations have caused my family great emotional stress.”””

Because none of that is proof and the DA you are citing didn’t prosecute because he knew it wasn’t proof. And as for your Cosby quotes, they’re much more likely to be talking about being caught having affairs, for the simple reason that many more famous people have affairs than commit rape.

You want to hate Cosby, go ahead. But don’t call it proof, because there is no proof - except for the proof that the DA definitely did NOT have enough proof to file charges, because he didn’t.

Proof? This is a discussion forum not a court room, and I don’t hate anyone.

Do you really consider Bill Clinton innocent and want to forbid discussion of him as a rapist, although we have far more evidence of Cosby’s rapes than Clinton’s rape.

How about this Republican DA on the 2004 rape case in an article from Breitbart, does it still make you want to sound like the Bill Clinton defenders?

“” Former Pennsylvania prosecutor Bruce L. Castor Jr., who investigated a woman’s claims that Cosby had sexually assaulted her in 2004, said Wednesday he decided not to prosecute because he felt there was not enough evidence to get a conviction.
“I wrote my opinion in such a way as I thought conveyed to the whole world that I thought he had done it, he had just gotten away with it because of a lack of evidence,” the former Montgomery County district attorney said.””

Check your question to me - you said proof. You set the standard of proof. As for that DA, he’s setting himself up for a personal lawsuit. What kind of DA doesn’t prosecute, and then goes public saying he thought someone was guilty? When has that ever happened? Never! It’s absurd. And Cosby absolutely enraged the Left for making many speeches about how blacks have to take responsibility for their lives. For awhile, he was a FR darling for those speeches.

Sorry, I think we’re looking at a Rat slander psyop fronted by Hillary’s army of scheming, lying skanks. And I think it’s because Obama is legalizing the illegals. Is a psyop in the deepest sense of the word. Liberals know Obama is going way too far. Hillary has to separate herself from Obama as he tanks if she’s going to run for President. She doesn’t want the soccer mom vote to shift RINO-centrist. So right when Obama screws the pooch, she floats the black Cosby rapes white girl slander. Soccer moms outraged - Obama becomes Cosby, raped girls now 40-something become soccer moms become white female Hillary, Rats stay out of the way because Cosby went off the plantation.

The psyop theory sounds crazy because they always do. But the Cosby accusations, in this way , at this time, sound so completely contrived to me that a psyop seems more reasonable. And right when Obama opens the Mexican floodgates? Nope - Cosby is a patsy.

You mean this statement? “”You have more proof that Cosby drugged and raped Constand in 2004, than you do that Clinton raped Juanita Broaddrick 20 years before that, in 1984.

Are you denying it? You want to waste a lot of time because you preferred the better word “evidence” ?

Back around 2006 Cosby tried to bluff the National Enquirer with a 250 million dollar lawsuit, until they said ‘bring it on’, he shut up.

Why are you so obsessed with shutting us up, are you this fierce about defending Bill Clinton on his rape?

Evidence is different from proof. Words matter. You’re basing your decision on the testimony of a DA who did not prosecute, is not showing his evidence, and who is certainly breaking professional protocol if not making outright illegal statements - and the media is completely silent about these breaches.

Fine, believe what you want. But the whole thing stinks to me - and what a coincidence this same DA invokes Clinton. You see nothing unusual. I see outrageous and indefensible statements and calculations by someone from a profession where people don’t lightly shoot of their mouths, especially to invoke criminal accusations of former presidents. No deal.

Straw man. The two cases are not the same. Your friendly DA made that association so you'd jump on it, without describing ANY similarities or actual evidence.

Yeah, you are nuts, no wonder you can’t come down to earth and just look at all these claims and all the evidence.

LOL, WHAT EVIDENCE?!

You are determined to remain ignorant, and you are ridiculous to claim that I am basing my take on Cosby’s situation on that DA.

You are working too hard to avoid actually paying attention to the evidence and the history and the long, long list of various unrelated accusers.

Your determination is to NOT try to get to the bottom of this, you must drive people here crazy about Bill Clinton.
