No, the Kochs won't make $100 billion from the Keystone XL pipeline
Tampa Bay Times PolitiFact.com PunditFact ^ | November 19, 2014 | Katie Sanders

Opponents of the Keystone XL pipeline are stoking fear about the project by connecting it to two of the biggest bogeymen in politics: Charles and David Koch.

The claim goes that the Koch brothers stand to make $100 billion if the pipeline gets built. The figure, which would effectively double the Kochs’ net worth, has bounced around liberal news organizations and was repeated this month by progressive radio talk show and TV host Thom Hartmann on his RT show.

Take it with a block of salt, a PunditFact analysis finds.

The real money trail involves Warren Buffet owning a bunch of railroads that would lose business if the pipeline gets built.

The Democrats keep shooting themselves in the foot. The pipeline would have put thousands of illegals to work.

Even if it were true, so what? If it provides the country with the economic boost we expect it will, who cares who it enriches and by how much? Of course, liberals are always obsessed with these things because they are fully committed to class warfare.

Bingo: “The real money trail involves Warren Buffet owning a bunch of railroads that would lose business if the pipeline gets built.”

This is just another example of the two critical ways we need to look at anything liberals are involved in:

1. Cui Bono, or who benefits, when bs surrounds and covers up or shrouds their overt or covert actions with any activity with libs in control of where money and power can be gained.

2. Follow the money after #1.

The answer to who benefits when the Keystone pipeline is killed/stalled is simple. It is Warren Buffet and his enviro pimps/whore, who get paid to fight Keystone.

Warren Buffet owns/controls most of the railroad old tank cars and the railroad which bring the oil from Canada to US refineries.

How many of the Rat $inators get a lot of money now and in IOUs from Buffet to keep Keystone dead?

What do train whistles and Warren Buffett have in common?

If you answered old-fashioned charm, you’re wrong.

The Sightline Institute, a Seattle-based think tank, calls the avuncular billionaire “the man behind the exploding trains.”

Buffett’s company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns Union Tank Car Company, North America’s largest leaser of tank cars. Berkshire also owns BNSF Railway Company, which moves many of those cars.

Again the rat’s MSM has hidden this important fact from us.

But Warren Buffet’s railroads will make gazillions if Keystone XL is not built.

The MSM doesn’t give a fig about truth and will report this as gospel. Remember the 97% of scientist support global warming.. pure bunk, but reported as absolutely true.

Who cares which billionaires make money from the project? The real question is, will we deny Americans jobs and opportunity so we can stick it to the Koch brothers (or Buffet or whoever)? It seems that the answer is “yes”.

Those Koch bros. sure are evil, what with all that money they give to PBS and foundations that fund PBS. Should be ashamed of themselves.

Correct! Socialist, POS billionaire Buffet has the most to lose if Keystone goes through. He’s built a near rail car monopoly for hauling oil.

I really don’t care if someone makes a lot of money on a project like this.

They provide so much good to others in so doing, it’s none of my business how much they make on it (unless I’m paying through tax dollars).

I don’t even care if they make more on it than the amount of “good” that can be quantified.

I love leftist political accounting. Why don't they just claim the Koch Brothers will make 100 Bajillion-Gajillion dollars!? And take over the world at the same time!

So that’s more money the Koch’s will have to push Amnesty and Gay Rights, which they support, so what are they complaining about?
