How to Win Like Elizabeth Warren -- A field guide for the Democratic Party
The Nation ^ | November 19, 2014 | Stephanie Taylor

From the rubble of the 2014 election, a conversation has started about the future of the Democratic Party. Senator Elizabeth Warren is central to that conversation.

This week, we learned that Warren will be joining the Senate Democratic leadership as strategic policy adviser to the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee. In this role — created specifically for her — she will help craft the party’s policies and priorities as well as serve as a liaison to progressive groups.

While there is some skepticism about the idea of a "liaison" to base Democratic voters, there is largely agreement that it is a good thing for the Democratic Party to follow her political footsteps. After all, she's adored by big swaths of the Democratic electorate and the public at large. On the campaign trail this fall, she was welcomed with open arms in Kentucky, West Virginia, Michigan, and other reddish-purple states, drawing overflow crowds cheering on her message of tougher Wall Street regulation and kinder policies for working people.

But what is it that works about her? What is her special sauce? Other Democratic and progressive candidates ask me all the time how they can capture the intangible "it," that Warren magic. Below, I've dissected her tactics and her policies, which are one and the same, to help candidates better understand how to tread her path.

So Fauxahontas wins in an overwhelmingly liberal state, and the Rats think that she has the secret to national success?

Go right on ahead Rats and knock yourselves out....this is going to be so funny seeing her crash and burn down South and out West.

When the "system" allows itself to be gamed - one of many results can be "Warren-like."

Is a "Coulda', Shoulda', Woulda'" moment be at hand?

Given the pending edict from President Obama, it there perhaps a chance to reflect on earlier times, particularly given our history and our development as a Nation.

On 15 June 1215, at Runnymede on the bank of the Thames near Windsor, a meeting between King John and his barons took place.

Resulting was an executed document called the Magna Carta, or the Great Charter. The times and their events leading to this dealt very much with the liberties of the people and the powers of the Crown.

The various facets of the Magna Carta were known by our Founding Fathers - those who fashioned our great law-giving document - the Constitution of the United States of America.

That we, as a Nation, are where we are today gives pause about our very future tomorrow.

That’s what I was thinking. Her “you didn’t build that” socialism may work in New England, but it won’t work in a very large part of this country.

Please, Please, Democrat Party. Make Elizabeth Warren your Presidential Candidate and choose a progressive liberal to run with her.

And may she be unable to restrain her anti-American leftism.

The winning formula for Democrats is to define Republicans and pummel their definitions with lies. It’s a great strategy right up until those inconvenient moments when truth slips in, and then Democrats must rely on the perverseness and corruption of the media to cover for them.

Easy to capture it. Hold an open trash bag behind a defecating bull.

Wow. It is nearly incomprehensible that this woman, this fraud, this intellectual lightweight, is seen as a template for anything.

The fact that this idiot and charlatan is even being considered by anyone as a pattern for success only cements the fact that there is something seriously wrong with a large portion of the electorate.

She is also famous for reinforcing the message that the ‘system is rigged’ against the middle class. She fails to explain that her very Command and Control governance is the reason it is rigged. The Progressives want the power to pick the winners and losers. We call it the Obama Way of rewarding your friends and punishing your enemies.

That's it?

Bloat the bankrupt post office with even more bureaucracy and add functions to a 19th century model of 21st century digital banking already being done at the speed of light in the private sector?

That is how Elizabeth Warren is going to take over the Republic?

She and Hillary will make up. Warren is too green to carry the ticket, and Hillary needs Warren if she hopes to bring out the hard left.

With the field of Democrat probable candidates so far, and the fact that Betsy looks 15 years younger than Hillary, who is only 1 year older... gives her advantage

Leftists love to lecture the GOP about ‘electability’ and lure them into running Mitt Romney and John McCain types but when they get a hard-core leftist they drop all pretense that personal appeal matters. It matters not to them that Warren looks like Huck Finn’s Miss Watson (’a tolerable slim old maid with goggles on’) and has a voice that makes Hillary sound like Kathleen Turner.

She claims to be someone she is not.
She lies to get a job.
She plays the victim card against people who tell the truth about her.

Fauxahontas didn’t think up these tactics on her own - somebody else did it first.

That somebody is King Barack Obama.

We don’t know who he is other than a man without a birth certificate.
But we know for certain he is not an American.

He lies then lies about his lies.
He probably lies to his own kids every night.
Obama has set new world records for lying while in office - no small accomplishment considering his profession.

He constantly plays the race card and every other victim card in the deck.
We have heard six years of world class whining about race from this cry baby and still have two more years to go.
