AUSTIN, Texas -- Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) joined the video social media service Vine on Monday, publishing two short videos that shared his views on issues related to Internet freedom in less than ten seconds. The posts are clips from a speech Cruz delivered on Friday at the Capital Factory offices in downtown Austin where he advocated against imposing a sales tax on Internet transactions or imposing other burdensome regulations, as Breitbart Texas reported.

The first video is a short and simple message, based on the well-known "Don't Mess With Texas" slogan....

Cruz's op-ed also called the proposed "Net Neutrality" regulations "Obamacare for the Internet," writing that it "would put the government in charge of determining Internet pricing, terms of service and what types of products and services can be delivered, leading to fewer choices, fewer opportunities and higher prices."

"We should keep the federal government out of the business of regulating the Internet," Cruz concluded. "The United States has always been a place where someone with nothing can achieve anything. Freedom allows that social mobility, and the Internet is a haven for that entrepreneurial freedom.

"Call it the American Dream 2.0."

Agree 110%.

Yea, just let DemocRats get hold of it and they will break it in short order. Then they will propose a “fix” that will only make it worse. They will then keep breaking it until they claim the only solution is total government control because all attempts to “fix” it have failed.

The Daily Caller is even worse. Guess they have to make a lining, but if it’s too much they lose viewers.

I’ll just say that Cruz has a determination that “The People” fully understand issues and how and why they are significant to them. I’ll listen to his explanations any day!

He’s the first politician I’ve known that wants to spell things out so that anyone can understand....he cuts thru the gibberish and calls it what it is in how he sees it so your never guessing what he thinks of a matter.

Cruz has my vote for President. Even if I have to write him in I will do so.

The last three presidential elections I voted Against the Democrat and not for the Republican. I held my nose and voted. Now, that will be no more. For me, No More RINOs for President.

I will help a presidential campaign actively for the first time and get CRUZ Clarity into the White House.

That is why FR is about 90% of internet time. I cannot stand to go to a lot of websites any more because they are so full of ads and pop-ups that even with AdblockPlus and stuff, it still slows down your browsing to annoyance levels.
