The Colorado Consumer Health Initiative paid Obamacare advocate and administration analyst Jonathan Gruber to produce an independent report in support of Colorados Health Insurance Exchange in 2011. This work came after the analysts failure to disclose his paid work to editors at newspapers which published his columns advocating for the law. The Colorado Consumer Health Initiative describes itself as active supporters of Obamacare and its implementation here in Colorado.
Gruber is currently under scrutiny for a series of video clips in which he 1) acknowledges having lied about the content Obamacare in order to help get it passed, 2) refers to the stupidity and economic illiteracy of the American public as assets in passing the law, and 3) admits that the plaintiffs argument in pending litigation is correctenrollees on the federal exchange were specifically and intentionally excluded from receiving subsidies.
Forgotten, however, is that in January 2010, Gruber was penning op-ed pieces in the Washington Post and New York Times advocating for Obamacare, without having disclosed to his editors that he received nearly $400,000 from the administration to produce an objective analysis, that would be used in promoting the legislation.

I would so, so, so, so like to see some of the states Gruber scammed out of their $300K-$400K consulting fees sue him for fraud. That would be Schaedenfreude on steroids.
I bet they knew......................
Anyone else notice that major liberal policies and laws are based on lies?
1. In Roe VS. Wade, the left falsely claimed Roe was a victim of rape.
2. Cimate Change: anyone else remember “hide the decline”?
3. Now “lack of transparency” and “stupidity of the voter” are political advantages.
Well at least the Denver media was on this. </sarc
The people that hired Gruber and paid him with public funds to commit the fraud need to be criminally prosecuted.
All of these “reports” are govt records and it’s against the law to falsify govt records.
From Twitter:
Does Obama know how often that putz #Gruber visits the WH? Maybe he should check http://t.co/9VgpNTVcxv #tcot http://t.co/ztPOd4QLLN
Sue him for fraud? Colorado just re-elected Lickenpooper! Cory Gardner is an anomoly. The Left still controls the formerly free state of Colorado. Nothing will happen to Gruber except that he will be celebrated by the hard Left as their kind of man.
This guy is the best “small government” recruitment tool I’ve seen in years.
“Fraud” just scratches the surface.
6 Grubergate videos so far make Nixon’s little missing tape minutes look like a sniffle in preschool.

There is also a there is a PBS video of Gruber saying he worked with Obama himself in the Oval office:
Remember zero Republicans in Congress voted for ObozoCare. Every stupid rat in Congress voted for it without reading the bill or caring what was in it.
I agree. Gruber didn't rob the bank he just came up with the plan. Everyone wants to hang him and not the crew who actually did the robbery.
Fair enough, wrt Colorado, I don’t know. How about 1-2 of the other 5 or so states he (mis) advised?
Or are we now saying that he told the legislators in those states “here’s how we rip off the USGov for $400 MM” or “Here’s how you fool the idiots who live in your state” and those legislators went with it?
(honest question even if it doesn’t seem/sound like it!)
Thank you for the Grubergate videos .
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
Something is wrong with these Dems and Adams County.
Still counting the votes... and they’re still looking for ‘magical ballots’ to appear from parts unknown.
So it’s going to be 33 Dims to 32 Rs in the CO state House, and 18 Rs to 17 Dims in the CO Senate.

“CONCESSIONS: Hickenlooper Concedes HD 30 for Jenise May
Well that was awkward. While House Democrats are still holding out hope that Rep. Jenise May (D-Aurora) might retain her seat, Gov. John Hickenlooper basically conceded for her during yesterdays hearing of the Joint Budget Committee.
May lost her seat to Republican JoAnn Windolz 50.29 to 49.71 in what was a celebrated victory for the House Republicans. Ironically, Democrats thought May was so safe they made her the chair of the House Majority Project, the caucuss main candidate campaign arm. Instead of focusing on her own race, May was busy helping others get elected.
We can understand why she is in a bit of denial, but eventually you have to grow up. Its been a week. May and House Dems need to stop embarrassing themselves and accept reality now.”

Yes, something’s wrong. Dems are a nasty bunch and that’s an understatement.
We made progress but it’s still tough to accept Hick. winning.
I’m bummed out and don’t know what state of mind I’d be in if we hadn’t made so many gains across the country.
Thanks.

Actually, Republicans won a decisive victory in the total Colorado House vote. The problem is the Dems, with the assistance of the judiciary, gerrymandered the state in 2010.
