Republicans are still crowing about the sweeping victories in 2014 that give them control of both houses of Congress. They will set the agenda, deciding what gets considered, investigated and voted on. Their ideas will drive the debate.
But Republicans have no mandate because they offered no agenda. Republicans reaped the rewards of McConnell’s scorched-earth strategy, obstructing President Obama relentlessly, helping to create the failure that voters would pin on the party in power. But the collateral damage is that the “party of ‘no’ ” has no agreement on what is yes. Instead of using the years in the wilderness to develop new ideas and a clear vision, Republicans have used them only to sharpen their tongues, grow their claws and practice their backhands....

The lefties always screech and wail when they get their asses pounded.
The fact that Republicans had no national agenda made their victory all the more impressive.
If she doesn’t belong next to a boiling cauldron with a peaked hat on her head reciting something like this below then I have severely miscalculated.

A good example of the muzzly sounds that come from the mouth of someone whose head is stuck in sand. No vision. No truth. No reality. Just imagination and wishful thinking.

Generally speaking, I tend to agree with the author. I bought my bug-out property two weeks before the 2008 election and I thought McCain would win.
I’m happy the country has come to its senses to a great degree, but I see it as changing captains on the titanic after it’s hit the iceberg.
