That sounds like boots on the ground in an endless war. It will be an endless war only if politicians are in charge of it. Tell the generals to win it and then stand back and let them.

I haven’t seen anyone campaign on the notion of cutting Federal entitlements?
Yet its pretty clear the budget can only be balanced in this manner.
So I guess Ron has a point this time.

Actually, he has a point, and its one that we here know well. Its all RINO and DINO's there, the culture of DC is probably not going to change much.
That said, I will take what I can get!

When Joe Biden said, “This is a big F’ing deal” after passing Obamacare he was about 2/3’s right.
Ron Paul’s batting average is comparable.

Boots on the ground are coming!" ignoring the fact that the mohammedans have openly declared war on us over and over is evasion of reality.

But unfortunately my fears were confirmed even sooner than I thought. Shortly after the vote, President Obama announced that he would double the number of US troops on the ground in Iraq and request another $5.6 billion to fight his war in the Middle East. and he blames this on a Republican majority that won't be seated until next year.

Some were critical of my comment that, "Republican control of the Senate equals expanded neo-con wars in Syria and Iraq. Boots on the ground are coming!" Simple-minded nonsense!

Ron is trying to make himself relevant again and breathe new life into Rand. he is preaching the doom and gloom crowd’s version of “It doesn’t matter that we made some very significant progress because, well it just doesn’t matter”...
