WEST CALN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a man and his girlfriend are charged with murdering the girlfriend's 3-year-old son in what a prosecutor described as an "unspeakable act of depravity.".
Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan announced the arrests of Gary Fellenbaum and Jillian Tait Thursday morning. He says Fellenbaum, his wife, and girlfriend, Tait, all lived together in a mobile home in West Caln Township and worked at a local Walmart.
On Tuesday authorities were called to their residence for the report of an unresponsive child. Responding EMTs found 3-year-old Scott McMillan suffering from bruises, lacerations and puncture wounds all over his body.
Police say Fellenbaum, Tait, and Fellenbaum's wife, Amber, confessed that the little boy had been beaten with blunt and sharp objects, whipped, taped to a chair with electrical tape and beaten, hung up by his feet and beaten, leading to his death.

Just curious why you think the man is more culpable than the woman.
I think the opposite.
It is probable the male in question (I object to the honorable term “man” being applied to him) has mental/emotional problems to some extent diminishing his responsibility.
The female in question was more likely only concerned about hanging onto her boyfriend no matter what doing so entailed. Also, she was the boy’s maternal unit (refuse to use the word mother) and should be expected to have some additional degree of protectiveness.
I think capital punishment is appropriate for both.
The “wife” of the male is also culpable. Living in a home for weeks while a child is tortured and doing nothing to stop it is horrifying behavior in itself.
Purposely torture a child to death. These people are monsters.
So the guy, his wife, and his GF lived together with their son who has a different last name. Just a “modern family”, so much better than a traditional one.
That’s no worse than what is done by the thousands to unborn babies all over the Country each and every day, with the smiling approval of the SCOTUS and the reverent thanks of most Democrats, who honor these killings as sacraments of their leftist “faith”. Our Nation MUST answer to God for this continuing atrocity, some day soon.
My dream punishment.....hang both upside down in town so the kin folk can take turns smashing their heads with a bat or frying pan....then as they are in excruciating pain, light a fire underneath each of their heads and make then burn to death slowly.....enjoy with popcorn an your favorite drink.
And I don’t imagine the prison guards will do much to prevent that living hell from continuing, day by day.

Outside the womb, this is pretty rare. Inside the mother’s womb, this not only happens to about 1/3 of children, but it is celebrated.
We have politicians in the Democratic Party of America praying on national television for more of it to occur.
We have a so-called president who thanks his god (Satan) for it and exclaims that the executioners are doing god’s (Satan’s) work when they kill the children and asks god (Satan) to bless them.
God, the Judeo-Christian God and our Creator, will exact punishment soon.
