Investor's Business Daily ^ | 11/06/2014 | John Merline

If the reaction to President Obama's post-election press conference is any indication, he's in Dutch not only with voters but with the mainstream press as well, after several gave Obama two thumbs down for his performance.

The Daily Beast's Jonathan Alter, for one, was not impressed..

"'I hear you,' President Obama said to the voters who gave Democrats an electoral drubbing in Tuesday's midterm elections. But their message went in one presidential ear and out the other."

Understand how the sixties radicals feel. They feel that they can claim to be the Bolsheviks (majority) not the Mensheviks!

(Hey! It worked for Lenin.)

Beltway University aged Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats occupying university facilities for six years declare landslide victory in Tuesday's election -- "Two thirds of the people approve of what President Obama is doing."

This is tin foil hat territory.

Obama heard the 2/3s mandate of the people who didn’t vote?

How about a graphic of Obama wearing a tin foil hat with 2/3s mandate on it?

If he was armed----he coulda went postal on the WH press corps.

Boobamba's swilling valium and vodka as we type.....cause it T'aint just loss of the Congress....

<><> Republican wins down-ticket were all-encompassing....they control 69 of 99 state legs---one is unicameral.

<><> Republicans control 33 governorships---important for 2016 since governors control party machines.

<><> Another Boobamba dream dashed---Texas is redder than ever.

<><> Republicans could actually gain another seat--- NJ Democrat Menendez is under investigation---when he goes Gov Christie appoints a Republican.

==============================================

Obama's depressing presser regurgitated the prog/lib delusions: There is still a Republican minority but Boobamba says it was obscured by "the majority" that stayed home and did not vote.

Watta guy---now he's Karnak---he can see through men's minds and he knows all of those who stayed home really, really love him.......and are hard and fast supporters of his policies.

======================================

REALITY CHECK --- his news conference was very convincing ----Obama is a delusional narcissist, unfit for office.

He could not disguise it----he was seething w/ rage.

Being rejected was not supposed to happen---none of his advisors "told him" America could go to the polls and actually vote against the policies he, himself, asserted were on the ballot.

Since prog/libs have no moral compass, recognize no limits on their behavior----and are driven by vanity and egotism--- his undisguised wrath knows no bounds.

That means we, the people, are in danger every minute he still has power.

Obama his hurting the media’s political party. If they keep defending him, their 2016 candidate becomes a legacy run, and that won’t be good for them.

They will also be trimming Joe Biden from the herd.

Think it was a “Hey...wait a minute...he DOESN’T have any clothes!” moment for the press?

The 2/3’s comment is the community organizer speaking. Obama appoints himself as the voice of these apathetic, non-voters - and guess what, they are demanding exactly what O has been doing.

I noticed on election night that many of the CNN commentators were very critical of Obama and his policies and his failures.

It was rather shocking to watching many in the media seemingly turn on their idol. However, it was also the media ‘moving on’.

The media knows the next Dem nominee must be distanced from Obama and his policies. Whether it is Hillary or some other, they cannot run on Obama’s record. Since Obama himself will never be on the ballots again, the media are starting to use him as the piñata in preparation for 2016.

Obama has blamed everyone else for every ill of the last 6 years, so now the media and other Dems are starting to lay blame on Obama. That is going to sting his ego.

He’s in trouble if the MSM abandons ship. They are the only thing propping him up.

The real Reality Check is that he decimated the Democratic Party throughout the whole country.

"All right, we'll call it a draw."

(Not actually sure whose post-election comments better fit the imagery here, Obama's or Reid's)

We will know Obama is ‘over’ when Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose have another conversation.

This time they will discuss “we didn’t know much about Obama or his policies or interests in 2008, but we know now and the voters don’t like them.”

Even Hillary, though the current media darling, may fall from grace. As soon as the media realize that she is not Bill, they will dump her for a more youthful, charasmatic Dem candidate.

Nearly every candidate Bill and Hill tried to help just prior to this election lost. The ole Clinton charm may be gone.

Their latest spin is that the Dems would have won by a landslide, except that those 2/3 did not turn out due to EEEEEEVIL Republican Voter Suppression Schemes.

Prepare to be beaten over the head with that one till you’re ready to puke.

Think it was a “Hey...wait a minute...he DOESN’T have any clothes!” moment for the press?

Honestly? No.

It's politically safe to criticize him now- he doesn't have anything to lose at this point. It makes the press look even-handed, not the bunch of Democrat operatives that so many of them really are. My bet is that it's understood at the White House that the press pool is merely managing their public image. It might be a quid pro quo for carrying his water and running interference for his whole term.

The MSM will first trash Obama and then proceed to feed us, the electorate, with how great Cankles is. Get ready because it's coming and Whitewater and Benghazi be damned.
