The macaca thing was so absurd. The Washington Post ran a series of articles to “educate” all of us as to why we should be outraged about macaca, and why macaca was supposedly an ethnic slur.
Yet it worked. The stupid war on women thing worked for a while too. Liberals unfortunately can get things distracted from real issues, and win elections.

Yes, South Carolina electing a black Senator is racist, because Tim Scott is Republican. In the world of liberals, blacks are supposed to be Democrat. Otherwise, they are Uncle Toms. I’m sure Mia Love of Utah, Republican congresswoman-elect, is going to be caricatured as a slave woman from Gone With The Wind, or called Aunt Jemimah.

Makes me wonder what the south bashers would say about blacks who owned slaves. IIRC one of the largest slaveowners in Louisiana was black. Not to mention that the very first American colonist to be a slaveowner was black. But I'm sure they will be given some sort of convoluted dispensation.

Ha. Your rant reminds me of Randy Newman's song 'Rednecks' in which he runs through a litany like that. But Newman spent some of his youth in the South and seems to have an affection for Dixie. His song was a sly mockery of neoyankee sanctimony.
I listen as often as I can. My husband prefers watching the news at 6pm. And since the radio blasts all day, I generally give in.
