Last week I wrote about the shocking story of how our Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) willfully brought crack cocaine into the Black neighborhoods of our nation to make cash for financing a revolution in Nicaragua. This is going down as the vilest act perpetrated against a specific race of people. An agency of our nation performed and managed the dastardly act and must be held accountable. In other words, reparations are due.
They are due, but they will never come unless we start acting and demanding justice. There has been talk of reparations for the effects of slavery. That isnt going to fly as too much time has gone by to calculate just how much damage was done and who deserves what. This atrocity here, the Crack Invasion of Black America, is very fresh and many of the ills are still taking place. Reparations must be placed on the table.
As the CIA started spreading truckloads of crack through our neighborhoods via street gangs such as the Bloods and Crips, they started forming all of the bad ingredients for chaos and decay. As the crack hit the streets, weapons started to flow. Weapons and drugs are the main ingredients for urban warfare. AK-47s was the weapon of choice. Funny, you cant buy an AK-47 in this nation (its made in Russia), but thousands of them started appearing in gang fights, robberies, etc. It would take the sophistication and power like a CIA operation to pull this off. Local police departments would assign manpower to assist the agents in this onshore invasion.
The fast cash started flowing, making the gangs more aggressive. Some were downright vicious. Drug dealing was everywhere and in plain sight.
As the property values of our neighborhoods started sinking and the deaths/incarcerations started climbing, the idea of rehabilitation started fading.
Our poverty levels and quality of life are worse now than they were 40 years ago. This is mainly due to the above. It was government-sponsored and the government should be held accountable.
What I want to know is, why hasn’t the GOP hired the CIA agents to incorporate the mind control that made inner city blacks use the coke, to get them voting Republican? Seems they are very easily manipulated.
How about blaming the gangs while all the fingerpointing is going on? The bloods and crips owe reparations - they’re the ones doing the killing.
That was funny.
While not the author's intent, he inadvertently raises an interesting point: which came first, the crack or the market for it?
I would contend that the black community (with the help of white guilt liberals) had tilled a field ripe for crack long before it ever came on the scene in the inner cities. Sadly, some populations do make themselves vulnerable to substance abuse. The Opium Wars were in some sense a violent market correction, but the British East India Company had become dependent on smuggling opium into China, which made itself a receptive marketplace, and despite the endemic shortages of the Soviet economy, vodka was always pretty much in supply.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the CIA is responsible for crack in black communities, but some demographics do make themselves (or are made) particularly vulnerable to substance abuse.
Guess what, Harry Alford. Your boy Bill Clinton was in the middle of it. Barry Seale brought in three billion dollars of cocaine came into Mena, Arkansas while he was governor. Everyone needs to read COMPROMISED: Clinton, Bush, and the CIA by Terry Reed. Clinton kept his mouth shut with the promise of getting the dream job he always wanted.
When I helped L.D. Brown with a book tour in SoCal several years ago, I tried to arrange a meeting between L.D. and Maxine Waters to discuss the cocaine issue. She would have none of it.
There are very large meth and marijuana operations in my area of western Wisconsin. There is a minuscule black population of less than one percent. I guess the racist CIA decided to get a lot of white people hooked on drugs around here. (snicker)
“AK-47s was the weapon of choice”
You would think they could afford an editor.
No one has editors, any more. I think there was a mass layoff somewhere around 1989.
No, it doesn't. People belong in prison for doing it but no one owes you squat for being dumb enough to use the coke.
They do .... think what the product was like before “editing”!
Just the rock on the top of the pile.
> Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) willfully brought crack cocaine into the Black neighborhoods of our nation to make cash for financing a revolution in Nicaragua
and forced the residents to buy it? Go be fruitful and multiply, but not in those words, demagogue.
> As the CIA started spreading truckloads of crack through our neighborhoods via street gangs such as the Bloods and Crips...
...the Bloods and Crips became responsible for paying the reparations.
So the Rev’rund Harry C. Alford is going on record claiming that the Bloods and the Crips are a CIA front group?
“shocking story of how our Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) willfully brought crack cocaine into the Black neighborhoods of our nation”
Wow, they dug deep to bring this crap back. Libs always have to blame someone for their weakness and failure.
If I remember right, the United States had a huge problem with addiction after the Civil War because opium was so widely used to treat the wounded. Heroin was designed to treat opium addiction. I absolutely agree the black community, which was already devolving into what it is today, was ripe for the cocaine explosion, but the difference is, cocaine was highly illegal at the time. The abusers had to make a conscious decision to seek out an illicit seller, risk arrest and incarceration to feed their urge, and they knew all along, they were breaking the law. And it was the blacks who were turning powdered cocaine into freebase, or rock, because normal ingestion routes were not delivering the “high” they were looking for.
Yep, Billy Boy and Bushy The Elder, (Among others as you know but those were the 2 big cogs in the wheel), had quite the little ‘import business’ going on out of Mena. I bought ‘Compromised’ when it was first published, (1996 or so), and have read it again a few times since. It is a very well researched and well written book imo. It still surprises me how many have never heard of this operation out of Mena Ark. or when they do learn, they yell baloney because...’George Bush would never had done anything like that’!
