He's the perfect combination of electable and conservative. I can't fathom why he's at 1% nationally in the 2016 primary polls, while Jeb Bush is at top.

The reason I ask is because he is now being eyed by a lot of conservatives to be the Presidential candidate for 2016.
It might not be in his job description now, but sooner or later, IMMIGRATION will be an issue.

Walker has been trying for years to keep illegal aliens from Illinois from pouring across his southern border {especially Bear's fans}.
My question is: Will conserative Freepers consider him an actuall conservative Republican or do they view him as “just another RINO”?
My personal view is that he is a good conservative.

The context during the interview was “would you support immigration reform” his answer “yes, would consider it - but only after we close the front door.” Liberal media ran around pushing this canard high and low.
