When I was stationed a Schofield Barracks we had bullet digs in the floors and holes on the outside of the quads from when the japs came through kole-kole pass and strafed the barracks. They were left there, although the windows were repaired. We needed to remember. I expect that they have been fixed recently in the interest of political correctness. Nothing surprises me now.
