New Polls Show Republicans Pulling Away In Key Senate Races November 02, 2014 Republican Senate candidates are pulling away in the final days of key races, according to polls released this weekend.

Republicans are either leading in Georgia, Kentucky and Louisiana or will likely win runoff elections, according to a NBC/Marist poll released Sunday.

In addition, the Republican nominee in Iowa, Joni Ernst, now has a 7-point lead over Democratic challenger Rep Bruce Braley, according to a Des Moines Register poll released Saturday.

Most polls have shown until now that the four races have essentially been deadlocked in the closing weeks.

The GOP needs to win a net total of six Senate seats to take control of the chamber, with essentially only the West Virginia and Montana contests apparently in hand.

In Kentucky, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell appears to be pulling away from Democratic challenger Alison Lund Grimes, reaching the critical 50 percent mark with Grimes now at 41 percent.

That is my mission on Tuesday.

That rat b@stard has given me more sleepless nights and debilitating migraines than any terrorist group.

9/11 didn’t negatively affect me like this guy has!

I will do what needs to be done to facilitate his exit just that much quicker.

Make a couple of assumptions:

1. Kentucky holds as expected.
2. We lose Kansas. We might not but it is looking likely.

That means we need 7 pickups minimum.

3. We get pickups in Montana, Wyoming and West Virginia. Those are in the bag.

That leaves 4 more pickups that we must have from the following:

4. Arkansas looks in the bag. Iowa looking very good.

That leaves two to go.

5. Colorado looks pretty likely.

That leaves 1 to go from:

Alaska
Louisiana
Georgia
North Carolina

Best bets here are Louisiana and Alaska

If we get those and Georgia we are going to sleep well Tuesday night.

If we get North Carolina as well we will be up all night celebrating.

And New Hampshire? I don’t think so but that would call for champagne.

Assuming we win WVa, Montana, South Dakota, Louisiana in the runoff, Arkansas, Iowa and Colorado, we cannot lose both Alaska and Kansas because we will have a 50-50 tie. We will hold Georgia in the runoff in January, cause there aren’t enough Dems and Obama can’t hold the lies on amnesty and the Obamacare rate hikes until then. I think we will win Alaska, but Kansas is problematic; the guy is photogenic, has a lot of money, is a big phony and Roberts looks old. North Carolina will be close but the Dem ground game is too successful, probably the same in New Hampshire where too many Mass liberals will vote for the policies they fled from. Ideas, anyone??

The pre-election polls always undercount the dead people and illegal aliens. Those are two of the most reliable Democrat voting blocks.

I sure would like to see Mark Warner lose in Virginia.

The polls are closing fast. But all the papers are saying not fast enough.

If the trend is our friend and the “ground game” kept in check (which I believe it will be), I think we win 10 seats net.

WV, MT, SD, CO, IA, LA, AK, AR (for sure). We will win NC too. I think we pull out KS based on early number. I think we will win NH as well and if it is a real wave, some other seat like NM.

WE will hold GA, KY.

We will expand in the House too. It is early, but these are my thoughts. Dems are down, we are motivated...look, in every election look where people are going...if Obama has been in MD several times and other places, it ain’t good for his side.

One of the things that Democrats do better than Republicans is GOTV by using social media. Now that they are flagging in the polls, the Democrats are going all out with social media, putting out missives that the Republicans are out to enslave women and to "roll the South back into the 19th Century" etc. I'm not kidding either. This is how desperate they have become in the waning hours.

Hopefully our young people are too sophisticated to fall for these tactics. I hope I do not overestimate them.

I sure would like to see Mark Warner lose in Virginia.

I would like to see it too. Unfortunately, the Virginia GOP is perfectly content having Democrats hold all key offices and Congressional positions. Virginia would have been an easy Republican pickup. But the state GOP has set the stage to ensure Warner wins just as they did with McAuliffe last year.

You wanna know why he (Obama) irks you. He is not one of us. He is not even an African-American!!! He is a Kenyan Muslim Black African adoree of his most adored, “Muslim Brotherhood”, including ISIS, Hamas and his other radical Muslim terroist buddies!!! Obama could care less about every single African-American in the USA. Just look at the ragged way he has treated them in his six years in office!!!

Poor, silly, ill informed, Black folk are in worse shape then they have been, under Obama’s tenure as POTUS. all he want from African-Americans is their vote!!! and..if there are any silly Hispanic folks out there that thinks Obama is peachy, think again...get ready for another under the bus heave-ho!!!
