Possible Illegal Democratic Campaign Activity In Kansas
Townhall.com ^ | October 31, 2014 | Kevin Glass

In the tight race between incumbent Republican Pat Roberts and "independent" candidate Greg Orman in Kansas, the Democrats are implicitly pro-Orman. The two-way race between Orman and Roberts has been close ever since Democrats pressured the official Democratic candidate to drop out of the race.

But now, the Kansas Republican Party has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against the Kansas Democratic Party for illegal "in-kind" contributions to the Orman campaign.

Kansas Democrats have hung pro-Orman signs at official Democratic Party offices which, according to the GOP's complaint, is illegal:

Parties have traditionally used the volunteer exemption for activities such as get out the vote, printing and handing out bumper stickers and yard signs, door-to-door canvassing, and volunteer mail programs. But the Kansas Democrats are allowed to undertake these activities only on behalf of their nominees - not independent, non-affiliated candidates such as Greg Orman.

...

Various reports have indicated that the Kansas Democrats are supporting Greg Orman in numerous and unreported ways, apparently in violation of Federal law.

I’m sure that Eric Holder will jump right on it. He’s not about to tolerate any violation of a Federal Law. Of that, you can be sure.

Hmm, I was going to say the complaint is coming too late BUT are what they really doing is laying the ground work to block the Dem party out if the race is close and there is a recount?

There’s a perfectly reasonable explanation: The alphabet networks make huge in-kind contributions to the Dhims every election and never get called on it, and the Dhims are so used to it that they just got sloppy.

Lets see...

The law states the Dem cannot be removed from the ballot, without his stating why he is unable to serve.

A judge said that law didn’t matter.

The law states that the Dems have to nominate a new candidate.

A group of judges said that law didn’t matter.

What are the odds that a judge says this illegal activity doesn’t matter?

They’ll cheat because only winning counts and they’ve never been held to account. Disband the FEC and take the gloves off. We don’t need the government managing elections to benefit Democrats.

Good to see our party in Kansas fighting back. It’s a good political move too as it exposed the democrat party has been supporting 0rman all along with all the shenanigans.

I just hope the 2 of those judges, who are up for being retained, are voted out of office. I, and my family will do our part.

Haven’t you yet realized that silly things like laws no longer apply to most Democrats??

IT’s sad that as bad as things are in this country and with all of Obama’s scandals and his approval numbers being in the tank, the republicans should be walking away with every election instead of worrying about someone breaking a little campaign law.

If the republicans had been concerned about voter fraud and campaign fraud 20 years ago we’d never have gotten Obama in the first place.
