Whom Should Christians Support in the 2016 Presidential Election?
Charisma News ^ | 10/29/2014 | Bryan Fischer/AFA

The left-wing National Journal ran a piece on Sunday making the argument that the Evangelical choice for 2016 has already been narrowed down to a choice between Sen. Ted Cruz and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.

The National Journal is right.

Evangelical and pro-family leaders realize that if America is to be reclaimed, conservatives cannot wait to let the filed sort itself out as we did in 2008 and 2012. It is close to midnight in America, and we simply do not have time to think about waiting until 2020. there may be little left of our country to save by then.

It may be imperative that social conservatives rally soon around one candidate and throw their energy and resources into his campaign. Given the timeline of modern presidential campaigns, this must happen early in 2015. ...

If the GOP runs another McCain or another Romney, the Democrats will win...

A host of GOP candidates who flunk this test including Scott walker (who surrendered on marriage in Wisconsin) and rand Paul (who has suggested that government get out of marriage altogether). Marco Rubio has kneecapped himself by his support for amnesty.

Christie is out for a host of reasons , and Jeb Bush is out because of amnesty and Common Core.

That leaves, in addition to Cruz and Huckabee, Gov. Rick Perry, former Sen. Rick Santorum, Dr. Ben Carson and Gov. Bobby Jindal.

I would go more with a Cruz/West ticket over a Cruz/Carson

If Cruz/West wins in 2016, nominate Carson to head HHS, and nominate Palin to head Dept of Interior (rolling in Dept of Energy underneath Interior and eliminating Carter's stupid cabinet post).

Wanna make liberals head spin? Try James Dobson to head Dept of Education, charged with the task of dismantling it and reverting education all back to the States the way it used to be. Nominate Santorum for this task perhaps.

Some FReepers may recall that West was at the 1st Annual Freeper convention in 2009.

FReegards!

I think you should chair the RNC. I like the way you think.

Isn’t he busy making Mississippi a RINO state?

AFter six years of suffering under a freshman Senator-turned-POTUS I absolutely do not want another from the legislative branch.

Give me someone with Executive experience: Industry, military, or government.

Give me Sarah Palin.

Yipes! I was thinking of Mike Huckabee. Huckabee is the one organizing the National Day of Prayer. You are correct about Haley Barbour. Barbour has sunk into the mire of the RINO cesspool. Haley Barbour Was Behind Racist anti-Tea Party Pro-Cochran Ads that played on black radio stations in Mississippi.

The last couple of elections have been depraved dimmo versus depraved dimmo lite. Neither party fielded a candidate who abhorred the dual abominations of abortion and homosexuality. I will ONLY support candidates that take bold stands on those issues.

We need such a stark choice. In reality it didn’t matter if Obama or McCain or Romney was elected. God’s wrath was going to continue to fall on us because of their depraved attitude toward behaviors God detests. But if we have this stark choice, if we choose righteousness we have a chance at turning God’s wrath away from us.

Huckabee found a role he can play then.

“Henry Barbour: Correction, Haley Barbour.”

haley barbour: CORRECTION, henry barbour. henry barbour is haley barbour’s nephew who along with his (henry’s) brother austin did the dirty work in the Mississippi Republican primary and runoff for US Senatorial nomination. Texas Governor Rick Perry has hired henry, not unca haley. Why would Governor Perry hire someone like henry barbour unless he had a Conservative adversary he wanted to debase?

With the issue of the Ebola virus, one has to consider the RINOvirus. It seems as if the Barbour family has been infected and is threatening others (i.e. Governor Perry)

This one is easy.
