Thanks for turning up her study - its a great example of taxpayer money being spent on studying what common sense would tell anybody that thought about the problem for ten minutes.

Her role as a collector of statistics for the CDC is completely inconsistent with her story in the Dallas News about being "confused" because somebody from the CDC with a form was asking her questions. Does anybody believe that she didn't tell show her fellow federal employees her ID, and that they didn't treat her like they would any fellow employee?

Hickox's story is about as plausible as a flight attendant claiming she was "confused" and was being oppressed during a vacation trip since the on-duty flight attendant on her employer's airline told her she had to remain seated during takeoff.

Hickox looks like yet another example of a manufactured "victim" from the Democratic Party machinery - which explains why her lawyer has dined at the White House, and worked with Al Sharpton.

Just getting up to speed for the day. Start off making arrangements to have new sink faucet put in, can get to it Monday, good, tired of doing dishes getting the water out of the slow tub faucets (they need fixed, too). Republicans call because I have the phone on. I blow up and hang up on them. Go back to sleep. Wake up and feel guilty for taking it out on the young man who robo called me for more money so I look for an old receipt. No number. Dig my survey out of the wastebasket with ick on my hands. Four page latter. No phone number. Look in the phone book. No Republicans but Republic (that's an Electric company). Look for Congresscritters and hope I'll know the Dem from the Rep and it's a local call. No luck.

So I turn on the computer and find the number on the bottom page of the RNC. The reason I got so mad is I was going to give a little earlier but they wanted it by credit or debit card because it is so late in the election cycle. I didn't want to get up, trip over my long phone cord and dig out my checkbook with my cc.

Now it has occurred to me the other times anybody could call and ask for a Republican donation (I always ask them to send me a notice so I can pay by check) it could be a phishing expedition to get my personal info and cc number. Wow. So I'm glad I did the calling. So a guy that sounds as sleepy as I was kind of reluctantly took my cc information and part way through I say how much (he never asked).

I remember the guy said they will send a receipt so that would be validation but still, I could forget. I guess you can set up for auto deduction. No thanks.

Then talk radio is on a topic again that upsets me greatly so I make one of my rare calls. Static so hang up. Call back. Static again, I wait, finally after two breaks, two callers, and commercials I get on. I had copied something out of the Catholic catechism so I had that am not good on talk radio especially this one. That was some call but I didn't cry, lose my temper or yell at him not to overtalk me.

So I just finished reading today's comments. Flagged one as inappropriate, hadn't done that yet and guess you don't have to be a member to upvote or flag.

It has now come down to a conservative versus liberal thing. The hard nosed conservatives want her locked up. There are "floaters" in between.

Thanks for the acct of Facebook, I am logged in on my daughter's acct, had one but dropped out Anyway, that was interesting but she does have a following. The next Mother Teresa, ha ha. She is kind of pretty but now it's obvious what it's all about. They want to turn it into a legal matter and get the whole country upset again so we can't talk about it rationally.

Sorry it's so long. I do that a lot. I need to get a life lol.

Radio news may be on verge of court fight in Maine. Obama won't like that.

You know something occurred to me today and gosh I hope I’m wrong but....with this entitlement attitude she may very cause a lot more trouble for the locals. She’s already lawyer-ed up and stating she will not abide by the quarantine. Let’s say she and/or her handlers are trying to prove a (the CDC”s talking points) point that you almost have to be bathing in bodily fluids to get it. What happens to the poor guy that owns a local restaurant that she may decide to go to. If he refuses service will this twit and her Attorney sue them. Will he loose business like the restaurant that the soup Dr. went to if he serves her? Or what about the local grocery store, night club and so forth.

You raise valid points. I wouldn’t put it past the left to use her in this manner.

We already know she is or was involved with the CDC so it does make me wonder.

I hope you are wrong but think you are right. Businesses are going to get sued if they refuse service. Just like the LBGT crowd. And through it all, there are only opinions; nothing seems absolutely certain about some aspects of the disease.

There was also some concern that people will stop supporting Doctors Without Borders because of her behavior. Meanwhile, a nurse serving the same ebola victims in Sierra Leone has returned to Texas and seems to be submitting to the quarantine with grace. Few would LIKE it.

So far it has been proven (small sampling again) that any quarantine will have to be ENFORCED. Even people who ought to know better aren't accepting volunteering for it. That would empower fedgov even worse.

I'm not waiting for another shoe to fall but we've got trouble in River City Ferguson and the election. You've made some valid points. Don't hurt business which will hurt the economy. Actually I personally don't want to see businesses hurt by fears but she isn't convincing the public of the rightness of her cause so I certainly could not convince anybody about anything except if Obama takes another "shellacking", look for more trouble, Congress or not.
