Von W. Mueller knows there’s two sides - a start...
Sides: those that believe in the rule of law and those that believe in mob rule... Mob rule IS the biggest thug wins. Mueller’s just now learning many of us exist who do NOT believe in mob rule... The downside of living in a liberal elite echo chamber - our type is a surprise to him. Lots of us out there...
That said, Von W. Mueller might be the first journalist covering this story to ‘get it’...

That’s basically what talk forums are for....ranting. The country is going down the tubes, but you think Freepers should put on a happy face and talk about unicorns and puppies? Sometimes we do. But, sorry, the problems of the country are not going to solved by nice talk. Liberalism has to be attacked. That involves a lot of barbed i.e. negative criticism.

I could tell by the campaign that the goal was to inflame racial animus and whining.
Some of these are the highest per student spending. Blacks claimed that white teachers can't teach blacks, so they replaced them with illiterate black union members. The unions are doing well, the black student, to the extent they even want to learn, not so much.
The tests are biased because the correct answer is required to get credit for the question.
They have done this to themselves, and my give-a-damn is busted.
Whenever there is a victim, there is an opportunity for the opportunist to acquire power to “correct” said injustice. To Democrats, power is life.
The last sentence from the editorial: “These two perspectives are set on a collision course, and all it may take is the decision from the grand jury to bring the anger to violence from both sides.”
Seriously? Both sides? I only see one side that wants violence.
I foresee a day when that might change, don’t you?
Look at Blacks from Jamaica and their success, and the failure of native born blacks—its the whole victimization/thug culture/drugs and lack of skills that is killing Americans Blacks off. They have only Rapper and sports as successes. The War on Poverty was a defeat for them. the break down in the family and the black churches has doomed them.
I would add (and not just for minorities, but for anyone who thinks he/she isn’t getting a fair shake):
Dress appropriately, not like a thug.
If your parents saddled you with a name that is a random assortment of letters and punctuation, consider changing it or getting a nickname that is more mainstream and pronounceable.
Don’t get tattoos.
Don’t get piercings.
Don’t expect to start at the top. Expect to start at the bottom and work your way up.
Don’t walk around with a chip on your shoulder just waiting for an excuse to unleash your anger. Guess what? We all have to deal with jerks now and then. The more attitude you have, the more you will attract them.
Accept that not everything is fair. I’m not saying you should accept mistreatment. What I am saying is that we’ve all been on the losing end and have been treated unfairly at some time or another (cute girl sleeping with boss got promoted, fellow alum got a bigger raise, fraternity brother got favored treatment, nephew gets away with slacking off, .....) Suck it up. Add experience to your resume, then move to a better company or start your own.
Remember that respect is earned. It’s not something anyone owes to you. Have you earned it?

As the election nears I am seeing a fast surge of “new” people with all-American FR handles like, “GerogeBushFan” or something stupid like that who are paid, liberal liars who think that writing a couple of positive Obama/Biden/Kerry posts will change people’s minds and be so covert and slick that no one will notice.
It’s pathetic that Democrats assume 100% of America is as dumb as 100% of Liberals.
By the way, I - in no way - was trying to mock your FR handle. I only just noticed that the one I wrote is similar to yours and I am VERY embarrassed and can’t apologize enough. I am very sorry. No insult meant.
I thought electing a black president would ruin Lib’s race bait for power game. Who can call the President of the US a race victim? Turns out Libs can.
It’s not “white privilege” keeping blacks down. It’s blacks keeping blacks down. If every business that starts in your neighborhood consistently gets robbed on a regular basis, you will have high unemployment because nobody will keep a business in your neighborhood. If you use race quotas and a superabundance of government handouts to “redistribute the wealth,” all you achieve is dragging everybody down and the people on the bottom suffer much more than the people on the top.
I can foresee being forced to resort to violence in self-defense. I can’t imagine starting something but I can imagine finishing it.
