Jeb Bush is "moving forward" on a potential 2016 White House run and it appears more likely he'll enter the Republican race. That's the opinion of his son, who's running for office in Texas.

George P. Bush tells ABC's "This Week" that his father is "still assessing" a presidential bid, but it seems more likely he'll seek the presidency this time. The former Florida governor declined to run for president in 2012 despite encouragement from Republicans.

He was a good governor of Florida, but I think he suffers from the Bush family’s “nice guy” syndrome - that is, they don’t stand up for themselves and they don’t really press their agendas but are too willing to “reach across the aisle” and compromise.

He is probably the best of the Bushes, in practical terms, but I’m not sure he’s aggressive enough at all.

Jeb, Christie, Mitt....who else is on the GOP-e short list?

They won’t want Rand Paul. And of course any conservative is out of the question...

I early voted and painstakingly voted each race so I could vote Libertarian against Cornyn & “Baby” Bush.

Same here.

Actually, most of the Bush clan has had work experience in something other than government. The Kennedys, on the other hand...

Ditto. Also voted against my “conservative” Congressman who joined the Gang of 8 in the House for shamnesty. Couldn’t believe email the other day from him touting how he was trying to protect us from Ebola. I’m starting to think senility is at play and he’s a puppet for GOPe staff.

Moving Forward? He really said that? What a poor choice of words to lean forward into!

This can be read as both good and bad news.
First the bad news: Jeb Bush is running.
And the good news: this means Milt Romney will not run.

Not a good idea...for multiple reasons. Not the least of which is that he couldn’t win - the media would create false narrative that he could never get away from.

Can’t this family find other work? This must be a genetic defect in the Kennedys and Bushes.

"Hey! It's Jeb's turn!"

Well, that is partially good news. It probably also means Rubio won’t run...but out of those three I would much prefer Rubio, except for his signing on to that ridiculous immigration bill. He’s backed away from it, but it is still an issue.

There is going to be a dozen or so people going into Iowa.

As they say, it’s a free country. Bushie can run if he wants.

Or he could give the money to me.

Either way, he isn’t going to be President. But if he gave the money to me, I would be wealthy. I vote for the latter.

A Bush vs Clinton election, or contracting Ebola, which is worse?

Gosh, talk about your tough questions.
