Can Marijuana Fuel Jihad?
Canada Free Press ^ | October 26, 2014 | Cliff Kincaid

Potheads defend their addiction by insisting that marijuana can make people lazy, dumb or hungry, but not violent. However, the case of Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, the Canadian Islamic terrorist killer, proves otherwise.

Zehaf-Bibeau was an Islamist, as well as a pothead. In another notorious case of jihad, one of the Boston Marathon bombers, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was not only a dope smoker but a dealer.

It appears that Dzhokhar’s brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev was implicated in a Jewish triple murder case in which thousands of dollars’ worth of marijuana and money were left covering the bodies. All three victims’ throats were slashed.

It may be too early to draw a direct connection between jihad, marijuana, and mass murder, but it is worth considering whether consumption of the drug can alter the mind to such an extent that jihad becomes appealing to some mentally unstable individuals....

I wonder how often marijuana is used to fuel abortion. I suspect quite often. In both the planning and the execution itself.

It’s a myth that pot is passive. A myth perpetuated during the initial passive stage of a revolution designed to destroy the only freedom-loving society on earth.

I read one article that claimed that Michael Brown had enough marijuana in his system to cause hallucinations. I do think that the paranoia that often accompanies regular marijuana use sometimes develops into full blown schizophrenia.

Ok, they were historically named after hashish. I give you that.

But the point is: THC is not a passive drug. It has been used as a motivating elixir by assassins and revolutionaries throughout history. Particularly muslim assassins.

One thing is certain, marijuana comes with a very powerful psychological effect.

There is no other drug that causes an attitude of personal defensiveness in people who take a favorable view of marijuana. This is seen in all the debate and discussion.

If anything could be a vector for mind control, it’s marijuana.

They also say that marijuana causes the growth of man-boobs. We were talking about the man boobs of the drug dealing illegal that killed those police officers in CA and I decided to look up the cause of man boobs. There was a ton of articles from Huffington Post and Philly.com and places like that, claiming that there is a connection between man-boobs and THC. They said that there just has not been any studies done to verify the speculation.

Has anyone here with such strong...in fact crazy as hell...notions about marijuana ever smoked any to any extent

I did....for many years and knew folks who did worldwide

Worst thing I could ever tell was apathy and laziness is some who smoked all day every day

It is not a gateway drug.....no more than beer is

It doesn’t make anyone violent....quite opposite....it may even thwart those marginally violent

It sure doesn’t promote jihad....that is absurd

All this heartfelt anger over a drug many here know little about themselves

They just hate hippies and hipsters and blunt thuggas

I don’t like them either but pot just doesn’t do what the ignorant here think

Oh yeah ....the higher quality weed can give panic attacks to women....they get nervous easy

Its not a harmless drug....none are...but it is not what these truly nutty articles try to say

Saxons drank to excess

DDay heroes took amphetamines

And so on.....its not why anything....its just what they used

Frankly to go out and kill....I prefer coffee or diet Dr pepper and a xanax afterwards to numb the weirdness

And tobacco....now that is your warrior dope.....nicotiana.....75% of line company troops smoked in WWII

Its still 3-4 times higher rate than general public

I myself would never ever been stoned purposely in life threatening situations

How stupid. Out of tens of millions of pot users, that a few commit violent acts is inevitable. That pot “made” them do it is silly.

You said that marijuana is not a gateway drug. Maybe the gateway is just getting to know your dealer and the dealer talks you into trying the hard stuff.

I am just guessing here because I have never used drugs or had close contact with anyone who has.

I don’t think pot makes people violent, any more than it makes them passive. I think it makes them easily manipulated, into being “flower children” or assassins... or sex objects. Whatever the manipulator wants. Manipulation is easier with pot.

LOL. Somehow I don’t think so. The potheads I know aren’t killing anyone. They are barely getting off the couch.

Muslim warriors are all stoked on drugs. They are sent into battle high. Afganistan and Columbia are the primary sources for Muslim drug trafficking. Terrorism is a drug culture phenomenon.

I thought that, if the phenomenon is legitimate, it is caused by a substance (not THC) mimicking estrogen in the plant. Hundreds of compounds have been identified in marijuana:some psychoactive, some resembling hormones and others inert or with unidentified activity in the body.

I don’t think pot makes people violent, any more than it makes them passive.

If you read the online pot shop descriptions of varieties they carry, the Indica- and Sativa- based strains have pretty much opposite effects (but none inducing violence). It seems reasonable, though, to infer that too much sativa in a violence-prone personality could have energizing effects including violent behavior.

Whatever it is in the marijuana that could cause the man-boobs, this guy was a prime example. I have never seen such gross man-boobs.

AP is now stating the real name of the guy and asking that he be turned over to them for deportation as soon as he is charged - no jail, just deportation. If this doesn’t anger people, I don’t know what it will take.

On other words, anti-marijuana laws are the gateway.
