British towns being ‘swamped’ by immigrants feel 'under seige', says Michael Fallon

Michael Fallon, the defence secretary, has claimed British towns are being “swamped” by immigrants and their residents are “under siege”, in an escalation of the emotive language being used by Tory ministers calling for a renegotiation of the UK’s relationship with Europe.

In terms reminiscent of Margaret Thatcher in the 1970s, he said on Sunday that in some areas of the UK, large numbers of migrant workers and foreign people claiming benefits should be subject to some form of restraint – or risk dominating the local population.

“In some areas of the UK, down the east coast, towns do feel under siege, [with] large numbers of migrant workers and people claiming benefits, and it’s quite right we look at that,” he said.

Fallon made his comments after being forced to deny that Cameron’s efforts to renegotiate the UK’s relationship with Europe were foundering after Angela Merkel spelled out her opposition.

After the prime minister detailed his plan for Britain to regain control over its borders, Merkel told a Sunday newspaper she was opposed to fundamental change.

There will be a "shot heard round the world" event sooner or later.

When will it happen?

This is what you get under Socialism.

You people have been living fat and happy lives with your social safety nets/hammocks and you act surprised when people from other parts of the world want to take advantage.

It's happening here in the ISUS as well. I just wonder if we'll wake up in time.

Is Cameron supporting this cultural take over, or is he actively opposing it? To say nothing and do nothing pro-active is to lend support. I already know that Prince Charles is quite ready to submit and use a prayer rug at Buckingham Palace. Take it from me, Leading From Behind is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Brits better look out...the Muslims are coming and will
take over in a few more years. They are now running for government jobs.

The Muslim population in London is one of the largest of all major European cities. After Christianity, Islam is the second largest religion practiced in London; according to the 2001 census, 607,000 people in the city identified themselves as Muslims, or 8.5% of the general population of approximately 7,172,000. In comparison to national demographics, this number reveals the significance of giving accurate understanding of Muslims in London. While 14% population of the UK’s population lives in London, nearly 40% of Muslims in England and Wales live in London.1

The UK census taken in 2001 was the first to ask respondents to voluntary denote their religion. The responses found 323,000 Muslims in inner London (11.7% of the population), and 284,000 Muslims in outer London (6.5% of the population). The borough with the highest proportion was found to be Tower Hamlets, comprising 36.4% of the population. Newham has the second largest Muslims population, with more than 24.3% identifying themselves as Muslims

What is the reference to UKIP in that title? Are they the ones that posted this?

In any event the exact same thing can be said about New York City, it is no longer an American city.

It seems like every single person, regardless of age, or color, or religion, is a foreigner. Jersey City is like that too.

The USA is dead. Obama's Executive amnesty will destroy this country with the stroke of a pen.

In 1970 one in 21 was foreign born; today it is one in 8, the highest in 90 years; and within a decade, it will be one in 7, the highest in our history. By comparison, the UK is in better shape than the US.

Western Civilization is the real issue. We will lose L.A., and other pockets, but huge sections of the country will eventually, out of necessity, secede to defend American culture. England will not be able to survive, America, in some geographic iteration, will.

It makes me wonder what liberals think will be left for them when they have their way, as I see it the only thing left will be third world dark bloody despair around the globe.

At the current rate of social and economic destruction I may live to see it, just a few short years ago, I could not have imagined what I am seeing today, advancing at break neck speed.
