I would like to get your opinion and if you agree, see if you would like to be a principal in this endeavor.

Agreed.

Politically, the growing immigrant population can be a big source of new GOP voters. There’s no reason why new immigrants and their children should be ceded to the Democrat party. Many of these immigrants are involved in activities such as owning small businesses, and are concerned about cultural rot in this country. They are prime candidates to hear the GOP message of limited government and lower taxes and individual liberty.

Spring of 13' Mark Levin talked about this article in great detail by M Station Evans. It is a "natural" group for the GOP to reach out too, and the Birth Rate of Liberals is not self sustaining. They could be un-producing themselves out of existence and need to import votes if you will.

More food for thought here, comment on it Laz after reading it....

They tend to have fled from countries that embrace socialism and police-state tactics on the part of the government.

How does that work out with Californians or New Yorkers who flee their native states?

This is some of that ‘Political Judo’ we discussed so long ago.

I have heard this over and over. The Hispanic vote is generally centered in lower socio-econonmic circumstances (as are growing numbers of non-hispanics)which is a group that will never vote against what they perceive as their own financial self-interests which unfortunately involve “other peoples money.”

The Hispanic demographic is ripe for a conservative takeover.

I do not think it is "ripe". Frankly, I see it as green. But the potential is there. Lots of work to do.

Until then I would like to give a shout out to those amnesty loving, power-hungry droolers in the Democrat party.

When you get all your South-Of-the Border voters through amnesty, get used to this little phrase:

Es Mi Partido

I agree with this premise.and have seen it in action. The majority of Hispanics I know are more conservative in nature. Now the radical La Raza types; that’s a different story but it would be quite ironic if all the imported illegal immigrants began voting conservatively after they figured out they’d only been allowed into the country for cheap labor and to vote Democrat.
That border fence would be approved and up within no time...

“Conservator takeover”? You are either conservative or you are not. Takeover? How would that work? The republicans and the democrats will have little interest in the border until they can use it as a gemmic or vote raiser for the next election.

So what’s the message? We might get an equal share of the pie so bring on the green cards?

I don’t buy it. I lived in Los Angeles long enough to have worked with, done business with, and dated oodles of Mexicans. The ‘us versus them’ thing is very strong with that crowd and once Zero starts giving out those green cards, it’s over for the GOP.

Republicans don’t have to win a majority of the Latino vote in most areas. However, they do have to increase their vote to at least 1/3. At the same time Republicans have to increase their white percentage to around 65%.-70%. This is the winning formula for at least another 10 years. Just look to Texas as a prime example as to how Republicans can win. After 10 years, Republicans will have to increase their share of the minority vote even more. Other states, such Alabama, with a very large democrat leaning black population, Repubs win by the unanimity of the white vote. This formula does not work so well in the Northeast or California where the white vote is more evenly split.

As for the purported social conservatism of Hispanics, I suppose this is true. But, often the Latino vote is cast for liberal economic reasons or ethnic pride.

Historically South/Central American countries were stratified into three broad groups; Creoles, Criollos, and Peninsulares. It goes beyond race, there is a culture associated with each social strata. After the Spanish lost South/Central America the Criollos, people born in America but of pure Spanish blood and comprising the equivalent of the middle class, largely settled in Texas. What remained of them was incorporated into society hundreds of years ago. The Peninsulares, people born in Spain and sent over to rule the colonies obviously doesn't exist anymore.

The Creoles, the lowest caste comprised of blacks, mixed-bloods, Indians, slaves, etc, has become the norm since the Spanish lost their colonies, i.e. your average Mexican today would have been a Creole mix-blood in 1650. Back in the day Creoles couldn't own firearms, hold office in either state or Church and all that sort of fun stuff. Their culture was one of dependance on the higher castes and they weren't considered particularly trustworthy by the higher castes either.

When South/Central Americans (again, mostly Creoles) come here and vote Democrat it's because culturally that type of dependance has been bred into them since the Spanish conquered the New World. We're dealing with hundreds of years of cultural Democrat-ness. It's one of the biggest reasons, I think, that Simon Bolivar despaired of South American countries ever achieving the type of republic the United States had -- the Creoles were adverse to individual freedom, and still are. Hence they vote Democrat.

I have always thought that as possible. And, if it happens, the black vote will mean little in the future. Blacks would have Obama and the democrats to thank for weakening their political voice.

If amnesty does come about, republicans should pander to Latinos and give the bird to blacks that sold their souls (abortion, gay marriage, etc.) to the democrats.

You can say all that about church going Negroes, too. They continue to vote for the leftest candidate in the election and show no signs of changing. Most of the Spanish population, especially the illegals come from socialist backgrounds and did not come here for freedom. They came here to make more money and especially more free money from the wealthier socialist system in El Norte.

We have to count the illegals now. They will be voting in 2016. 8% of illegal adults vote now(80% Democrat-20% other) and by 2016 they will all be fiat legal voters. And they will attribute their enfranchisement to the Democrats even if the Republicans jump the gun and vote immediate full citizenship next week.

I hate to be cynical and divisive, but the leftist democrats have been doing it to us forever, using the tactics of envy/division, and it has worked for them with GREAT effect. Just look at how 80% - 90% of blacks vote against republicans each and every election. The dems don’t even need to really do anything for them. They’re taken completely for granted. In the same way the republicans just take conservatives for granted the days, I might add. A way needs to be found to turn the black population and Hispanics against one another. This is assuming that an honest up-and-up strategy doesn’t first succeed.

I believe there’s already some dislike and distrust simmering just below the surface between the two. The blacks are afraid the Hispanics are going to come in here, replace them is the most favored minority, and take all of their ‘free stuff’. The leaders of both groups know this, and are trying to keep their respective rank & file united with the other group against ‘Whitey’, but I don’t think their gonna be able to hold it together long term. That’s when the situation will need to be exploited to our benefit, and employ a strategy of divide and conquer.

This is completely against my personal nature and preference, but I’m sick of seeing it done to us year after year. It’s time to use the leftist’s own tactics against them, and see how they like it!

Of course, doing things the ‘right way’ needs to be tried first!

If the Dems, in general, saw that the mass of ‘immigrants’ from the south were voting conservative/Republican, the Dems would slam the border doors shut so tight a scorpion would need a passport to get across.

Even Mexico would oppose the conservative immigrants, as they might start assimilating and reduce sending money back to Mexico.

==

If the ole Reagan Democrats and GOP conservatives ever got together and dump their old politicial affiliations, they could create a conservative party that is roughly 40% of the population.

If that happened, both the Dem and Pubbie parties would lose a hefty number and each party would be reduced to the 20-30% range of the population.

==

Conservatives just do not play the political game very well. Look at how many times they field a half-dozen wannabes who split the votes, thus, allowing the GOPelite candidates to win.
