I don't listen to Michael Savage but I imagine he'll be discussing this on his show today.

I listen to him when I can. We need more radio hosts like Michael Savage.

Not so far fetched at all actually.

About a year ago I would listen... but I told myself that the moment he would start talking about his show or his ratings or badmouthing others in the industry I was changing the station.

Well, guess how that turned out?

He can be otherwise very informative or especially entertaining... but he seems to always drop back to his core essense... a self-promoting douchebag.

How many times already has Obummer done something that we never, ever imagined a U.S. President would do to his own people?

No, nothing is far-fetched from this crew. Nothing at all.

Didn’t Savage recently call veterans with PTSD crybabies?

I listen occasionally to Michael Savage.

Recently I did think his rhetoric was a bit over the top, BUT...when you are trying to wake up the rest of America ...I can understand how he might feel it needs to be.

Savage seemed much more disgusted with us, the American People, for seemingly being unconcerned, unwilling, and weak. While he rails on against 0bama’s agenda, Savage seems more confused as to why we sit back and have surrendered to the coming dictatorship.

I agree with Savage that 0bama borders on some sort of fascist lunacy with his pen & phone. Savage is correct that the purge of government offices is Stalin-like, albeit not bloody. We here very little of the czar's in place to advise the President these days...until we see this Ebola czar...an unaccountable attorney designated by 0bama. WHY DOESN'T THAT SCARE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BACK TO REALITY? Why do we even need unaccountables to oversee government?

But in many ways I do fear a Republican Senate and House. We are at a critical juncture as opposing 0bama with what he perceives as a ‘hostile’ congress could lead him to declare a ‘rogue’ congress. Back when the government shut-down he used the term ‘rogue’ House, meaning the House was out of order and overthrown or subverted. He didn't push it far enough to eliminate those elected to represent us, but the threat was certainly there if one understood his meaning.

History teaches us that the ego of the rising dictator is actually very fragile. In 0bama’s case giving him a hostile congress could very well trigger his czar-like shadow government to move to action. All it would take is a sweep of his pen to declare the congress in open rebellion against his office. History shows that when the chips are down on the rising dictator is when he is most apt to make his final moves to install his regime.

Savage is correct in pointing out all these ‘soft’ strategic moves. America is at a point where she is either blind, deaf, and dumb...or is still in la-la land believing that ‘it can't happen here.’ Well ...it is happening here.

The final salvo is about to open with a ‘hostile congress.’ We just may not make it too a new president in 2016...

Savage is brilliant. Like any good agitator, he uses a lot of hyperbole.

His angry, pissed off New York guy act is old. Having grown up in Connecticut I hated listening to whiny New Yorkers who would move to my state and complain about it and New York equally. New Yorkers are just miserable people and Savage is just another one of them.

Savage has more detail and news than Rush right now. Rush has become a waste of time.

Anti gun Michael Savage is no friend of FR. He does have a mostly conservative outlook...but his anti second amendment bloviations is a deal breaker.

As a long-time listener of both Savage and Mark Levin I am convinced there is something here vis-a-vis Lincoln that's not understood.

There is a longstanding feud between Savage and Levin.

Daily Levin, seems to me, mocks Savage and Savage -- not so much anymore -- mocks back. I am glad for the latter mainly because Savage seemed to be disrespecting our cons-ti-tuuuuuuuuuuuu-shun mocking without naming Levin.

Levin's father has a very popular book out about Lincoln and it seems to me Savage goes out of his way to savage Lincoln for that reason.

Whoever typed in that posted article misses the main point of "the civil war" described by Savage, et al. Levin has described it a "quiet" (or similar word) civil war.

Here Abe will explain the meaning of our civil war. The fault is ours. Abe will explain from "the other side."

You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.

Does Michael Savage actual like anyone except Michael Savage?

I used to listen to him when I was driving home from work and those few minutes were about all I could take.

Listening to savage can be pleasant, actually, as in when her states what should be obvious to most but which escapes the analysis of even the most investigative of journalists, that Obama is not necessarily dumb but probably malicious and certainly not it for our benefit as Americans

But that point does not escape rush, and that is what keeps rush relevant BTW, among other things - like his optimism

But savage resorts to bashing and he doesn’t seem to get that people don’t have to like it. And a lot of people do not like that. And it iIS unnecessary.

He is a port. But the bashing he does, detracts from that. He could be a treasure but his nastiness takes him out of that tier

And 20,000 people in the 1860s would be what today? Two million or more?

Mike is apparently math-challenged. It would be about 200,000.

while suggesting – falsely – that he has forced 8,000 officers from the military for political reasons.

The only way to know for sure if his suggestion is false, is to allow the 8,000 officers to talk openly & honestly without fear of recrimination.

I'd take any one of Conservative talk-show hosts as a Presidential candidate. Listening to them makes me celebrate I'm not alone in my political views.

And Ronald Reagan is credited with saying (paraphrased from memory), "80% of conservative political views is good enough for me".

I stopped listening to Michael Savage when it was revealed that he made the maximum allowable contribution to Jerry Brown, aka Governor Moonbeam.
