McCain: 'People Don’t Like Republicans and They Don’t Like Obama

Arizona Sen. John McCain is expecting a low voter turnout in next month's midterm elections because he says voters are skeptical of both the Obama administration and the Republican Party.

“What I’m hearing from my pollster friends is that people don’t like Republicans and they don’t like Obama," McCain said in an interview on Pivot's "TakePart Live," a show co-hosted by his daughter, Meghan McCain. "And they're very, very turned off. And I’m afraid we are going to see a very low voter turnout in this election, and that’s not healthy for, obviously, any of us.”

According to the latest Gallup poll, just 40 percent of Americans approve of the job President Obama is doing, while 54 percent disapprove. And just 14 percent approve of the way Congress is handling its job.

People don’t like Republicans and they don’t like Obama but it is RINOs whom they really despise more than any political entity.

The poll made mention that of the Republican Party and Obama, the political entity voters hate more than anyone are RINOs, of which McCain is the official mouthpiece of. Really, how did this guy get to be the Republican nominee in 2008?

I've always been sympathetic to the State of Arizona and its beleaguered citizens but this McCain guy they keep on reelecting sure has me scratching my head wondering what is it in their drinking water.

I just wish he would go the hell away. He is crazier than a bag of rats. Clinically insane in my opinion.

I early voted in TX yesterday. Most people I have ever seen in a midterm election. They are revved up here.

They don’t like republicans because the party doesn’t stand for anything besides getting elected.

The corrupt MSM can ALWAYS count on John McCain to trash Republicans — always.

When the media are feelng blue, or when they need some electoral assistance they always trot out old John McCain to help out with a juicy soundbite to trash the Republican brand.

It’s one thing you can always count on from McCain.

No one snatches defeat from the jaws of victory on our side better than McCain. Please retire already.

Trust me, a lot of us agree, but he carries the State of Maricopa and wins the primaries. Then it’s hold you nose time again and again. Last time got us Flake to boot.

Its why I wont give the GOP a dime.

McCain gets nervous when Republicans get ‘too happy’. So he makes it his business to stand up for the
“unsinkable” DIMs as they whirl down the toilet bowl.

Despite the lack of media attention I suspect we may even take the Michigan Senate seat. Terri Land is raising more money than Gary Peters and the GOP is leading every other race in the state by wide margins.

So far the democrats have sent Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton up here to campaign and Bill Clinton is expected next week.
