Giffords calls on women to highlight gun violence

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Former Arizona Rep. Gabby Giffords charged Tuesday that "dangerous people with guns are a threat to women" as she worked to rally female voters across Iowa and inject gun control into one of the nation's marquee Senate contests.
"Women can lead the way," Giffords told domestic violence leaders gathered in Iowa's capital city during a 43-second speech that was halting and slurred at moments, but largely clear. "We can change our laws. We can change elections."

Boy, I'd LOVE to see the actual questions on that poll.
Who in their right mind wants "criminals" to have guns?
It all depends on the definition of "criminal" in the questions.
Some person with a DUI? A person who jaywalked?
Or a rapist or armed robber?

Women are the group who would benefit most from the fact that a gun levels out any DISPARITY OF FORCE.
It is the only object on the planet which levels the playing field between a 300 pound man and a 100 pound woman.
