DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Former Arizona Rep. Gabby Giffords charged Tuesday that "dangerous people with guns are a threat to women" as she worked to rally female voters across Iowa and inject gun control into one of the nation's marquee Senate contests.
"Women can lead the way," Giffords told domestic violence leaders gathered in Iowa's capital city during a 43-second speech that was halting and slurred at moments, but largely clear. "We can change our laws. We can change elections."

"Dangerous people" are a threat to women with or without guns. These guys don't need a gun to threaten a woman. A woman needs a gun to defend herself.

I own guns, knives, gasoline and matches, bow & arrow, crossbow, baseball bats, tireiron, etc. I would never hurt ANYONE with any of those weapons! Weapons do not CAUSE violence! But they can help you protect yourself when attacked by a criminal!

Should read: “dangerous people are a threat to EVERYONE”
As in DUH
A lot of violence on Women is carried out by perps NOT USING GUNS, but instead using knives, bats, blunt objects, sharp objects, or just bare hands and brute strength...
If the women had a gun and was trained to use it in a LOT of thopse cases there would be one Dangerous people out there...
