As an aggregate we are. The bottom line argument no one is making is that not restricting travel and entry into the US is totally ineffective in keeping infected people out.

Disease brought back with the Crusaders nearly destroyed Europe for good. Disease brought with colonists and explorers decimated indigenous people everywhere. Sane people just do not bring a disease into an area that hasn't been infected by it. It presents a new set of challenges that impacts everything else.

I'd like to know who those health experts are. I saw my family doctor Tuesday for a checkup. We started discussing this. His exact words were (referring to Obama and CDC Chief) "They are all morons."
