Ok...Tapitio & Cholula are both great & different in their own rights...I must have both in my fridge at all times.

But DANG! Cholula is expensive by comparison!

Different composers, different keys, different decades. The only thing I can find that’s in common is that the vocalists are all male.

Oh the joys [NOT] of unpacking!!! Nicole really stepped up when she was needed to most, she was a real GOD send for this move. She packed, loaded,& drove like a real champ, & I could not be any more proud of her that I am right now. Lance is having problems dealing with the move, but he’ll pull through. Terry unfortunately is probably gonna end up in a power [Hovearound type] chair. The back pain shots did not work & she may be looking at surgery to deal with the spasms & pain. She can only stand for 7 min or so now before the pain gets too bad for her to keep standing. So we’re pretty banged up, but we’re here now.

This week my Canteen jukebox theme is a fine one, but I'm not telling ... not yet. How long will it take someone to make the connection with these recordings and diverse artists? The contest lines are open, come on and take a guess ya'll.

On now this is fun!!!!

ROCKUMENTARY: OCTOBER 18, 1972

Tom Lehrer once joked that the Army does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion – or ability. I found the truth to be quite the opposite. I turned out to be a gifted staff officer, and as a second lieutenant I filled a captain’s slot down at the motor pool.

I had exceptional support. My motor NCO was a black E-7 from the old “”brown shoe” Army who came to us from the big motor pool in Saigon, and he said, “LT, you follow my advice, and I’ll make you look good.” I did, and he did. I was cited by the Deputy Commanding General of Fort Lewis for having the best motor pool on base.

So what were you up to?

Cue the Rockumentary theme!

San Remo Golden Strings: “Festival Time”

This band was Motown’s Funk Brothers backed with pickup musicians from the Detroit Symphony.

#10 – Raspberries: “Go All the Way”

This was Eric Carmen’s big break. From his Julliard background and his love of Rachmaninov, you can hear the tonal misdirection. The intro, the opening line and the rest of the song are in different keys (A Major, G Major, E Major).

Well that just stinks!!I hope that turns around very quickly.

Visioning you in 2016!!!

I totally get Mrs Z & the furbabie delema.

My yorkie is 17 now & her personallity has changed to that of a semi crotchety old woman. She demands we be home at certain times & be fed & walked on her schedule. She will crawl up & stand on my husbands chest as he sleeps & lick his face at 5 AM to walk her!

Good evening, Maestro!

I was at the start of my sophomore year at Loyola, majoring in English Lit., working in a home wine-making store, playing a mean hand of Bridge, and dating the first Mrs. MacNessa - exciting days! And tonight's No. 10, "Go All The Way," was most apropos at the time.

America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)
