"Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Thomas Frieden began his grilling Thursday on Capitol Hill with a stark admission that his agency is still searching for ways to combat the Ebola virus as it burrows into the United States.
Two members of Congress are calling for his resignation, and the White House began the torturous process of throwing him under the disease-control bus on Thursday afternoon, saying that Frieden is 'taking responsibility' for his agency's screwups.
'We're always open to ideas for what we can do to keep Americans safe,' Frieden said in his opening statement, departing from his prepared remarks in the face of a hostile and impatient panel in a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee.
'We would consider any options to better protect Americans,' he said later during a Q&A period."

This sounds exactly like what the head of the Secret Service said a few weeks ago, and she resigned the day after.

IF I had my way I would issue an arrest warrant for any West African who has come into this country and subject them to quarantine and immediate deportation, using force if necessary. Then I would, after holding meetings with every single owner of every single airline, order a complete ban to and from West Africa, including having passports confiscated if any American decides to travel there and refuse them the ability to return.

Yes... The CDC is saying “no you can do that because they will just come in illegally through our open borders and we won’t know who they are”. Rush covered it on his show. This is an example of why we have been insisting on enforcing our borders.

Not a big loss when you think about it. On the other hand, all high-level Obammunites know that their position is to tell whatever lies Obama orders them to propagate, and then throw themselves under the bus if the lies don’t work.
Frieden’s problem is he’s a terrible liar, and knowingly telling the blatant lies he’s been ordered to tell has severely afflicted him with cognitive dissonance.

They are open to NO ideas. Remember Obama saying he was open to good ideas on the economy. BULL. Just a way of deflecting and placing blame. Same here. Only one good idea.
