Maybe he shoulda said AIDS?
When did making stupid comments become grounds for an arrest?
Sounds like something Joe would say.
Some say Buckeyes are worthless nuts.
Why should this man be arrested for joking about Ebola when our assh0le president remains free after allowing the damn disease to come here?!
Why the HELL IS THAT!!?
It’s the “you can’t yell fire in a crowded theater” theory.
Probably around the same time when being a stupid person became a resume enhancer when applying for a government job.
I wonder who will be the first kid kicked out of school for making an Ebola virus drawing (or fashioning a slice of bread into an Ebola virus replica).
We will see more and more of this. Don’t know if they caught the guy who said he had Ebola on a bus yet.
So if she did have Ebola he wouldn’t be arrested but because she doesn’t have Ebola he is charged with inciting panic.
Yup. In our future, it could be cause for mentioning “Christ”, “Conservative”, “Pro-Life”, or the like.
I agree. Nobody eats the dam things.
Did he cause a panic? If he did, I'd say he was surrounded by gullible wimps. Meanwhile, the nephew of Duncan (who kept silent about his contact with aids), wants to sue for inept ebola care of his uncle. Crack a joke and get arrested. Sneak into the US and get millions of dollars of medical care. We are so F#*%ed by the gullible wimp voters.
You can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater if there is no fire and your speech causes panic.
This person might get charged with inducing panic. Yet, he induced no panic.
They'll even have testing at schools conducted at various grades to measure the compliance of students and their families...
Inciting panic? The city and surrounding area is going way-over-the minimum showing how prepared and competent everyone is to handle an emergency.
Honestly, they've done pretty well at it since the situation arose.
Not a surprise at all, in this a$$-backwards country, where good is evil and evil is good.
Arrest people for their words, not their actions. Insanity.
Because the other customers heard him and they had to close the table for cleaning and sanitizing and the game being closed cost the casino a lot of money they probably considered it like stealing from them.
Well, they better get used to it then.
This is Ebola land now.
I wonder how much money those tables will make when people stop socializing all together while they isolate themselves.
Hope and change.
