Probably. There's a rising tide of people who are showing up saying "I think I have Ebola", a lot of these obviously don't (99%), and, depending on where and when, some of them are getting into the media.

They have to perform a second test. It is well known that often a patient will first test negative until their viral load is higher. This was the case with Dr. Brantly. He first tested negative, 72 hours later he tested positive.

Also, there can be dual infections. Ebola and Malaria, Ebola and Typhoid, etc., so I hope they are testing for everything. But it's the CDC, and they have already proved their incompetence. That doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
