Yeah, but we’ll still have to contend with Godless, spineless hypocrites. I don’t see how this will change anything when the Republican party has proven itself to share the same “values” as the Democrat party.

A pub senate means Harry Reid no longer will have the same level of power he has now. I will take that victory because our side has been losing a lot since 2006. Pelosi out as speaker is another victory even though we hardly love Boehner. We no longer have to endure her arrogance and idiocy to the same degree since the dims lost the house.

There is no chance the GOP will “fumble” this football ...

Oh, they'll make the final cut alright, but just watch what happens when they hit the field.

maybe a president Cruz can put some fire under them in 2017 and beyond.

Leadership is the missing ingredient on the right. Cruz has it, and the Republicans need it. Badly.

...democrats are not only stupid cultists but mean human beings.

That is one of the truest statements ever made on this site.

The one thing even the dumbest liberal understands is that you stop a deadly disease by quarantine and the dems begged ebola to come here to put their lives in danger. Gave it full range to come here.

All it is going to take is more ebola cases and you are going to have even a dem lynch mob....of soccer moms. He is putting their families in danger from something that should have stayed in Africa even under the dumbest dem president.

The difference between Democrats and Republicans is far, far greater than you allow.

Yes, Republicans are disappointing at times, but seriously, how many voted for Obamacare? Would Romney have appointed Eric Holder?

Even the most imperfect Republican is far better than the most “moderate” (bwahaaha roflmao) Democrat.

Republican politicians have 4 main problems:
- Mainstream media bias
- Democrat fund-raising
- Democrat GoTV - we are falling further and further behind
- Reince Priebus - he should be fired and replaced with someone who understands 21st century get-out-the-vote.

No Cruz doesn’t have it. He is easily charicaturized as a crackpot and beaten down by the mainstream media.

Just because someone is a great conservative, it doesn’t mean they’re a good candidate.

I don’t want another Senator as President. Give me someone who has run something other than an election campaign.

Scott Walker if he wins, or Mike Pence.

Yes. I will and have voted almost exclusively for Republicans since I could first cast a vote in the 80s. However, the republicans’ actual governance is much different from their rhetoric.

You are focusing on their electoral ineptness to which I wholeheartedly agree.

Republicans to be successful in the future should concentrate on the basics and make good on them.

Strong defense including border security
Responsible spending and taxation
Reduction in size of Federal government, devolving more responsibilities to the states....this way people can decide if they want to live in “high service, high tax state” or “lower service state with lower taxes”...

And the best way for social conservatives to get what they want is to argue that “it is not a function of the Federal government” and “let the states decide”. Yes, I know the left uses the Federal courts to impose their values on us, but if we actively pushed the 10th Amendment and meant it, we could build the court precent over time to better support that proposition.

We were probably going to win to begin with but then two things happened:

Furgison and Ebola.

BOTH helped our side tremendously. Now it’s going to be a massive wave election against the democrats

A 94% chance of winning the Senate and then a 99% chance of them turning into democrats.

The RINOs keep blaming constitutional conservatives and stupid people for the mess we're in for not supporting McCain and Romney. Fact is, a decent 'pub presidential candidate with principles he/she actually believed in would've won.

What's my point? If the 'pubs get the US Senate, some of the new kids will be likely Ted Cruz conservatives. If things don't change, it'll be totally on the RINO backstabbing globalist elitists and they won't be able to blame everyone else.

Could it lead to a Cruz/Ernst ticket? Sure would give the RINOs the demographics they claim to want.
