1. There is nothing unconstitutional for a policeman to talk with you and ask questions.
2. There is also nothing unconstitutional for you saying “I do no consent to you searching my vehicle, I have nothing more to say and I would like to go now.”

It’s the vetting process. You can’t tell me this guy had a very tough process to go through coming to the police force.

Frisbee golfNever heard of it until this post. I learn something new everyday here at FR, although I have no idea what it is. Guess I'll have to look it up on-line.

Everybody behaved legally here -- but the police officer was pushing hard to find due cause for a search. One wrong answer and WHAM! this is going to escalate quickly.
And that's not actually why we have police. They are not employed in order to entrap us. They are supposed to help us.

police officers these days are typically festooned with garish tattoos and they listen the same violent, anti-social bilge that is the listening fare of the scum bags they arrest.
there’s no longer any difference between cops and scumbags.
Cops.are no longer heroes and increasingly COPS *ARE* ROBBERS.

I did search the copyright list, and did not find CNET. Perhaps it’s time for an update.

That officer was an arrogant and smug sounding jerk. He was trying his best to get that kid to slip up. Good for the kid, he didn’t trip up on any of Barney’s word games.

Stoner boy forgets to turn lights on.
Cop gives stoner boy ticket.
Cop talks to stoner boy, after saying stoner boy is free to go.
Stoner boy says inane things to cop for a minute and a half.
And stoner boy is a victim? The horror.
Anyone who thinks this is anything is worse than the Ferguson freaks.

The cop’s command of logic suggests an IQ of about 94.
Perfect for PD employment.
