Karl Rove: GOP Will Take Over Senate - Barely (Rove predicts McConnell will lose) !

GOP strategist Karl Rove is predicting nine states will flip from Democrat to Republican in the November 4 Senate elections, but he's also predicting three will go the other way.

If he's right, that would still give Republicans control of the Senate by the slimmest of margins — 51-49.

Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Rove listed his predictions for Republican pickups — from most- to least-likely — as Montana, West Virginia, South Dakota, Alaska, Louisiana, Arkansas, Iowa, Colorado and North Carolina.

His predictions for GOP losses were Kansas, Georgia and Kentucky.

Rove predicted a "barn burner" in South Dakota, where Republican Mike Rounds leads Democrat Rick Weiland and independent Larry Pressler in a three-way race. In the end, Rove predicts Rounds will prevail.

Democratic operative Joe Trippi admitted that the races in Alaska, Louisiana and Arkansas all are "moving in the wrong direction for Democrats." All three, see incumbents below what Trippi said is the magical number of 45 percent.

"If you're under 50 it's a problem if you're an incumbent," Trippi said. "Undecideds are either going to stay home or break away from the incumbents in these races."

Trippi sees a similar problem for Republican Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts, sitting at 42.3 percent, according to Real Clear Politics. His challenger, independent Greg Orman, has 44.7 percent

While I don't give a damn about Rove's predictions, a republican senate majority WITHOUT Mitch McConnell is the best of both worlds!

I’d be very happy to see Cochran out as well.

Now I am sure the Rats will hold the majority. This guy’s math has been unreliable for years. He’s a jinx. Not that it matters; RINOs, even in a majority, will do nothing to slow down BigGov.

I detest McConnell, but he lucked out by drawing a complete moonbat dilettante opponent in Grimes (who avoided answering whom she voted for for President in ‘08 and ‘12). He will win again. I’d also be surprised if Roberts or Perdue ultimately lose, either.

I hope that Rove's prediction take Democratic ballot box stuffing into consideration.

In fact, as evidenced by the problems that Chris McDaniel had with Democratic vote-rigging in Mississippi a few months ago, conservative candidates need to be prepared to file challenges to Democratic vote-rigging within state deadlines for such filings.

Weird of Rove to predict those losses.

Hopefully McDaniel will be the candidate on the general election ballot, otherwise it will be a Democrat runoff.

I think there’s a lot of attempted manipulation of voters going on.

Rove was so sure Romney would win Ohio he went into meltdown on the air at Fox on election night. I would give him scant credibility at best.

"Weird of Rove to predict those losses."

Rove is a snake in the grass. You don't announce as a so-called Republican, the expected failure of another Republican just before an election. That guy is lower than bird cage droppings.
