Embracing each other and smiling broadly, Shealynn Stillman and Charley Gittins made history Friday night.
With the announcement of Maria Carrillo High School’s homecoming royalty, the couple — two girls — became the first same-sex couple in the school’s, and maybe the county’s, history to win the honor.
In a twist on the fall tradition, Maria Carrillo students placed two sparkling tiaras, rather than a tiara and a crown, on the heads of its junior homecoming “princesses” during the halftime celebration at Friday night’s football game.
The 16-year-olds have been dating about a year and identify as pansexual, which they say means they consider gender irrelevant to choosing a partner. Having a couple of the same gender on the homecoming court is a first at Maria Carrillo and appears to be a first in the Santa Rosa City Schools district, based on a survey of local high schools.
“It feels amazing,” Stillman said after the royalty was named for all four classes. “I’m speechless.”
Asked if they felt like they just did something important, the girls said almost in unison: “Yes, absolutely.”

The term pansexual sounds like just another way to say bi-sexual to me. Or as Hillary Clinton has been known to say, “What difference does it make?”

A lot of these young people have psychological problems, caused by the incessant drum of MSM perverted thinking. I bet many of these “same-sex” relationships are not truly initially caused by a seeking out of someone the same sex, but were enticed to experiment by a deranged friend or group of friends. Once they started experimenting, they thought they were indeed homosexual. I bet some of them later have regrets, and switch back to a heterosexual relationship when true arrousal for the opposite sex kicks in. But any way you look at it, the psychological damage is done. Gonna be a lot of conflicted young people with head problems that will wreak further damage to society in the future.

Why is this “history”? All the schools are doing it. It’s just junior screwing around with his/her parents’ minds. This sexual deviant crap is old news. Really not chic or “cool” anymore. Just dumb.

The purpose of Homecoming royalty was that the school chose a king and queen to represent them during the celebrations. Since it was always a boy and girl thing, the idiots now need to have these selections more clearly defined as one male and one female. That would correct the silliness of having two males or two females.
Oh, wait - I guess that would not do it either, with all the nonsense about gender identity, the next thing we will hear is 2 transgenders reigning at homecoming.
