The purpose of Homecoming royalty was that the school chose a king and queen to represent them during the celebrations. Since it was always a boy and girl thing, the idiots now need to have these selections more clearly defined as one male and one female. That would correct the silliness of having two males or two females.
Oh, wait - I guess that would not do it either, with all the nonsense about gender identity, the next thing we will hear is 2 transgenders reigning at homecoming.
Homecoming Court has nothing to do with being a couple or sexuality. There is a King and a Queen. By very definition, that means the King is a guy and the Queen is a girl. Now I guess I’m a “hater” or a “bigot” due to understanding the concept of language.
