Caddell: Republicans Are ‘Stupid Party’ for Not Running Against Amnesty
Breitbart TV ^ | 10 Oct 2014 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 10/11/2014 5:30:50 PM PDT by george76

Former Democratic pollster Pat Caddell blasted the Republican Party for not making the president’s planned executive amnesty a national issue

...

The Republican Party, they’re not called the stupid party for nothing. These people are able to, are willing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory given the opportunity,” he stated.

“It's amazing to me. I've never seen a party that doesn't grab opportunities thrown at it like this,” he declared. And “they [Republicans] should be taking this issue and making it a national referendum issue against every Democrat, and for every Republican in the country.”

He speculated that Republicans have not made executive amnesty an issue because “they have a lot of donors, and a lot of their lobbyists telling them they want this. The Chamber of Commerce wants open borders, the Wall Street Journal wants open borders.”

It’s likely that Caddell knows that, as George Wallace said, there ain’t dimes worth of difference between the two parties.

It’s all evil, every last bit of it, even the janitors.

All government seems to be an ugly tumor, and the party leadership is certainly part of that tumor. Thing is, many of us are finding it hard to function in life carrying that tumor around, and it only grows ever larger. Depressing.

Don’t ask me. Back when I first began completely identifying with and supporting the Republican Party, they were talking FORCEFULLY about things like balanced budget amendments, family values, term limits, anti-communism, judicial activism and such.

Never hear anything about those things from them nowadays. Heck, the outlandish ruling on Monday was one of the most egregious examples of running afoul of both issues of “judicial activism” AND “family values” that I’ve seen in my lifetime, and how many GOP leaders actually even bothered to stand up and make a statement? Cruz, Jindal, Huckabee. Wasn’t that about it? Unbelievable.

There’s really not a single reason I can see anymore to have any affiliation with the Republican Party. They seem to share neither my ideology nor my values. They just sit around and... exist. Standing for apparently nothing.

"Republicans Are ‘Stupid Party’"

That's because some Republicans are really nothing more than paid agents of the US Chamber of Commerce, and other K-Street operators.

I worry a little when Clinton cadres give Republicans advice on how to beat the ‘Rats.

Shows you how much you know about Caddell.

Since when did a den care what the republicans do!

Thanks for the comment from the peanut gallery. Caddell is one of the last honest Democrats we have (not a "den"). But not that you'd know.

It does have a purpose.

Its purpose is to lie and to buy time and collect donations with those lies.

They are pussies...but then again fighting amnesty openly is fraught with peril as the media will HOWL about how Republicans hate hispanics etc.

Better to just keep your mouth shut about it...keep control of the HoR and take the Senate. Then see where the dust settles.

He’s right. We have all of these lawless representatives
who are allowing and encouraging these illegals to invade this country.

There is no republican party when it comes to amnesty.

The shots are being called by the Chamber of Commerce and the brain dead RINOs who think illegals will rush to the polls to vote for them.

I know. When I was a kid I saw Reagan as a stand-up guy, because of him I identified with the Republicans.

I can’t say that now.
