SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME! I DON'T UNDERSTAND! (Vanity)
October 10, 2014 | Din Maker

I don't understand why one is called a "purist", a "troll", a "fascist", a "liberal Democrat" and a lot of other, non-flattering names just because they.....

Stand up to powerful, political elites, who have a lot of power over us, the common man, and say to them:

"You hate Conservatives! You have vowed to "crush" us wherever you find us."

"You used racist antics and Black Democrats to steal an Election from a fine young Conservative in MS. In so doing, you disenfranchised the votes of everyone of his supporters. You violated their Civil Rights, and that can be proved in a Court of Law. Yet, no one in the GOP hierarchy reproved you."

"You think you are so entitled to a Senate seat in a State that is not even your legal residence. You declared in legal documents that your legal residence is in a State you have lived in since your children were in Elementary School. And you declared on video that you only visit the State you represent when you have an opponent."

"You want our campaign donations so you can pour big bucks into the campaign of RINOs, like yourself, and hang out to dry, a true Conservative like Terri Lynn Land in Michigan."

"You hate people like Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin. You work behind the scenes to discredit and "muzzle" them. Yet, you call them to Kansas when your boy is in trouble and might lose his Senate seat."

Somebody please tell me why we have to kowtow down and give our "blessings" and our votes to people who have molested us for years and we're not allowed to rise up and fight back when we could rid our Party, our nation and our very lives of a couple of them and still win control of the Senate.

Somebody please tell me why.

As long as we continue to knuckle under and vote RINO at the last minute, they will continue to deliver RINO nominees.

You're wrong. There were multiple conservative candidates running for the nomination in 2012 but puritans seeking the perfect candidate destroyed each and every one of them. My God, even Michelle Bachman was made out to be a satanic RINO.

Until conservatives realize there is no perfect candidate, they will eat their own and pave the way for another moderate to win the nomination.

And, no 51 Ted Cruzs can't be elected to the Senate. There are too many liberal states for that to happen. That doesn't mean you give up and let the nation go to hell by letting Democrats takeover. We tried back back in 2006 and 2008 and the consequences have been horrific.

We know that liberal Republicans will refuse to support and vote for conservatives

. I am quietly drawing a red line and will not support the GOPs when they cross it.

And, that is gave us Obamacare. That is what is resulting the courts being filled with liberal judges. That is what is resulting the rise of radical Islam and growing terrorist threat to this nation.

But, I guess it gives you a self-righteous feeling to know you're standing on principle.

How do we know that? Most of them ended voting for Reagan.

But you -- YOU are determined to keep the "moderates" in power

No, I'm determined to get Democrats out of power. Why? I don't want radical liberal judges on the court and thwarting anything conservatives pass at the state level. I don't want another disaster like Obamacare to pass because "principled" people wanted to teach the RINOs a lesson.

We tried your strategy -- letting Democrats take charge -- back in 2006 and 2008. And, things got worse, a lot worse.

I am recuperating so not totally sober but....

If you weren’t here last election, it was so frustrating. I believe that even romney would have been safer for us these last two years than obama. I didnt want a RINO as our nominee, but apparently our primaries are open to Dems and our conservatives cannot run the media gauntlet. It’s like watching the episode of Frasier where he opens a new restaurant every four years. Everything always goes wrong.

But my propiority was to defeat obama. Not most people at FR. They were so tired of voting for Rinos that here the thought was, don’t vote. Or vote third party or write in. So in my mind FR helped reelect obama.

Freepers galvanized around the estrogen dominant, never trustworthy, needy personality of newt Gingrich. They liked his attacks on the media, which blinded them to how narcissistic and dangerous he was as a candidate.

And we lost again, just like every time they show it, Frasier’s restaurant fails spectacularly.

It’s just difficult. We conservatives have to fight:
1) the libs
2) the Rinos
And 3) the media

The deck is unbelievably stacked.

No one talks about this here. We can’t get a firm unabashed social and economic conservative nominated. It just won’t work. We need a socially moderate, fiscally conservative nominee who will stealthily grow more to the right after being elected.

Or we get another dem.

>> Seriously, what would republican control of the senate gain us?
>
> That you even have to ask the question is mind boggling.

No — I'm asking about their character.
What characteristic in some politician with an (R) by their name is it that separates them from Democrats? (i.e. what is the functional difference?)

Do you realize that RADICAL LEFT-WING JUDGES ARE BEING APPOINTED via the nuclear option by Harry Reid and the Democrats, judges that were being blocked by Republicans? Those judges are going to be on the court longer than Thad Cochran and Pat Roberts are going to be alive.

No, they weren't — Take a look at the history of Romney for some of the more egregious ones.
Much of the Judiciary's problems are not new — in fact, its state now shows your they were blocking radical judges to be… rather unfounded.

And, leftist judges are overturning conservative legislation at the state level -- voter ID laws, pro-life laws and laws cracking down on the illegal immigration.

And what have the republicans been doing to ensure the integrity of the vote? What have they done with illegal immigration?
Hell, the invasion is an excellent example of the BS the Republican party feeds you:

TX Constitution, ART 4, Sec. 7. COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF MILITARY FORCES; CALLING FORTH MILITIA.
He shall be Commander-in-Chief of the military forces of the State, except when they are called into actual service of the United States. He shall have power to call forth the militia to execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to repel invasions.
There, right there is the legal justification for using military power to slam shut the illegal immigration. But did Perry do that? No! Instead he called the TX National Guard up for a stupid display purposes only-mission that looked like a good photo-op. —— And many people here were lapping it up saying That's Presidential!

What a load of shit.

People like you are destroying anything that can be accomplished the future by conservatives.

Yes, because I'm so important and influential; hell, I'm the face of the conservative movement. <-- Sarcasm.

Why not just drop out of the political discussion and plan secession or a civil war. Those are the only options you're leaving conservatives with.

If that's what valuing justice and constitutionality lead to, so be it.
You continue your course of the lesser evil and let me know how great you do in advancing conservative causes.

“In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win. In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.”

Do you even know how the GOP got to this place? Who put the Liberal Judges in? Who did not put up a fight on Obama nominees or even "W"s pathetic ones like Roberts?

Some GOP history for your tender ears. Back in 1994 there was The Contract With America a Conservative GOP Platform most of it written and pushed through Congress after the huge wins for the GOP by Newt.

Now what exactly happened? Well it seems there was this congressman from Ohio and New York who got together in about 1996 and decided Newt had to go. One was Bill Paxon can you name the other one? I bet you can't or even have a clue as to what I'm talking about. I'll give you a clue. He's the current U.S. Speaker Of The House.

That is why even with a two house majority under "W" government powers and agencies powers increases as did government in general and No Conservative Agenda's Of Any Significance Passed. "W" told the Conservative to pound sane and the GOP SML and the GOP SOH said Amen Brother "W". The GOP lost it's butt in 2006 for NOT PRODUCING RESULTS THEY WERE ELECTED TO PRODUCE AS A MAJORITY. Remember that? The GOP sold out.

If you want to diss Conservatives you had best learn the dirty tricks YOUR side of the GOP used to destroy the Conservative GOP.

But, I guess it gives you a self-righteous feeling to know you're standing on principle.

Well, I do think that standing on principle is a good thing, though I am not self-righteous about it. I am just talking strategy here.

Nor am I a puritan. There are plenty of issues -- especially social issues -- where I am willing to overlook differences.

But there are some positions that are critical to me in terms of supporting presidential or legislative candidates:

-- Absolute commitment to enforcement of immigration laws and border control. Failure to take this position is a deal killer for me.

-- Firm, demonstrated commitment to cut taxes, spending and regulation, which includes a commitment to get rid of the IRS through repeal of the 16th amendment and replacement of the income tax with a national sales tax.

-- Commitment to eliminate or drastically cut back the regulatory power of a number of federal agencies (take your pick, but especially EPA, Department of Labor and Department of Education.

-- Firm and absolute commitment to the recognition, preservation and strengthening of national sovereignty, and to America's legitimate national security interests.

-- Opposition to political correctness, "diversity, affirmative action."

I understand these things can't all be addressed in one term, but the candidate's leaning in these areas are critical to me.

In terms of priority, the top three are immigration, national security and cutting back on government regulation and taxation.

I don't think these things are too much to ask of the so-called "Republican" party.

It's a said statement on the state of the GOP when even Pat Caddell is calling for the GOP to fight against Amnesty.

The Crying Clown and the neutered one in the senate are afraid Donors and their Democrat friends across the aisle might not wanna let them play "Oligarchy" with them any more.

You're out of touch with reality. All five of the Reagan appointees ARE INFINITELY more conservative than Democratic nominees. Roberts and Kennedy are the only thing keeping the Second Amendment as we know it alive. Those five struck down the contraceptive mandate. They struck down the bubble zone law against abortion protesters.

One more liberal judge to replace either and it won't matter what conservatives do legislative.

Conservatism is a three-legged stool of social, economic and fiscal conservatives. You can't just ask social conservatives to compromise unless you're willing to on some of your issues.

Again, Reagan was right -- someone that agrees with you 80% of the time is your friend, not your enemy.
