Connecticut is no longer America. If you want to live in America, you must leave the state.

Democrats would be loading us all into cattle cars today if they had the power.

I have it on good authority that there will be blood in the streets if the gov’t tries to take homeschoolers’ children.

Mrs. Barbara Bush was asked once about homeschooling and said she didn’t think it was a good idea, or something to that effect. This from a woman whose kids all went to expensive private schools.

Yes, the Republican establishment dislikes homeschoolers. I saw that when I worked on a campaign for a Republican running for the Senate. There were 2 distinct camps - the conservatives, including many homeschool teens, who did all the work, and the establishment types, who showed up in the last week when it was apparent our candidate would win, started bossing all the homeschool kids around, and tried to take credit for the win afterwards.

bump

I have gotten to the point where I no longer see “Republicans” as the good guys. Some of them are pretty good, like Ted Cruz, but overall I don’t identify with them.

I read that he attended the school briefly when he was a child, but no one knows why he targeted that school.

But, we do know this: He was not homeschooled.

He went to school through tenth grade. In the spring semester of his 10th grade year, he dropped out, got his GED, applied to a university, and started taking college courses that summer.

IOW, he dropped out of school at age 16 (the legal dropout age) to start college right away.

Here’s why people claim he was homeschooled: For those few months before starting college, his parents handled a few courses with him at home.

Here’s a timeline of his life. It starts discussing his dropping out next to Fall 2007:

So, it’s quite a stretch for Connecticut to claim he was homeschooled.

Agenda 21 ping - presenting homeschoolers for “inspection”

Malloy’s committee on the Newtown shootings is recommending that Connecticut require home-schooling families to present their children to the local authorities periodically for inspection

snip

The government schools are an assembly line for human widgets, who are in theory there to be taught what the state requires them to know in order to fulfill their roles as workers, administrators, and other bits of human machinery. That is the assumption behind President Obama’s insistence that “if you quit on school, you’re not just quitting on yourself — you’re quitting on your country.” Students are also there to be instructed in the official, unspoken state ideology: submission to official power.

Related - teacher training is creating teachers that are anti-American which flows into the ISIS ideology.
