High court denies gay marriage appeals [legal immediately in IN, OK, UT, VA and WI]

he Supreme Court has turned away appeals from five states seeking to prohibit same-sex marriages, paving the way for an immediate expansion of gay and lesbian unions.

The justices on Monday did not comment in rejecting appeals from Indiana, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin.

The court's order immediately ends delays on marriage in those states. Couples in six other states should be able to get married in short order.

That would make same-sex marriage legal in 30 states and the District of Columbia.

But the justices have left unresolved for now the question of same-sex marriage nationwide.

You’re probably right. Too many years living outside of, ‘The People’s Republik of Madistan,’ makes one very jaded!

I was thinking the very same thing, absolutely. It may well be deemed illegal to refer to certain Scriptures.

Next Crosses will have to be only on the inside of the Church in the event someone might be offended. Mind you liberal non Christian Churches might just as well have the cross inside anyway, they will probably agree with taking it in anyway.

You are extrapolating from some blue state or blue zone observations. Be careful of selection bias in your data sampling or aggregation.

America is still predominately conservative and traditional.

The Assembly of States organization which is organizing the Article V process is a fine group of people educated in the US Constitution.

This group is much more trustworthy than Congress.

Congress has been bought; they’ve sold out. States have not been so compromised.

The Assembly of States organization is a fine proxy for what Congress ought to be.

Ask yourself, will Congress ever propose amendments that strengthen American traditionalists?

Sorry, but The organization you admire so much would not be picking the delegates. Legislatures would.

And you’re wrong that the legislatures are not compromised. They ignore the Constitution the same as members of Congress do. Virtually all of them, blue or red.

It is not written in the Constitution that legislatures will pick delegates. Nor is it written in state laws that they will do so.

And again your extrapolation that all state governments are compromised and corrupt is in error. If that’s how you think then you might as well get on your knees and beg.

Who is going to pick the delegates then, under what constitutional authority?

I know how corrupt the Legislatures are, when it comes to following the Constitution.

The only begging I’m doing is begging Americans to stop electing representatives, at all levels of governance, who won’t keep their oaths.

Why do we call them justices? There is nothing just about them and there hasn’t been for many generations. The Federal Employees in black robes long ago discovered they are entirely unaccountable and dictatorial in their power.

There is nothing inherently just about that.

“Its up to God to restore the natural order of things.
And restore it he will.”

I agree, although i can’t help but wondering if it will be that gets the present culture first.

The failure of marriage and family has resulted in sub-replacement domestic demographics.

The Failure of rational culture has led to a failure of assimilation meaning new in coming populations with any brains both can and will NOT adopt american customs thus like the Mexicans they eventually take over the towns and States they have settled in to the point of banning the reminisces of American culture such as our flag.

The collapse of defensible values and led to politically indefeasible position of liberalism. Which of course destroy our military and most of the means of our self defense.(unilateral disarming and gutting regular military to buy more votes).
Add to that the homosexual couture that has taken hold in the military to the order that young men in that organization are 1000 times more likely to be raped than in civilian life, means recruiting will be more difficult too.

The sodomites being promoted to high places in the Army are having a lot of fun abusing their power over our boys to satisfied their discussing sexual fatancies.

Even if America was invaded I would have a hard time agreeing to join that army, I certainly wold be more inclined to shoot my gay superior than submit to being placed in such situations.

There is of course a 3d problem, with marrage no longer being marrage, fatherless child hood is on the rise and as it rises the level of delinquency and dysfunction in adults will grow all the more rapidly. Look no further than the black community to see what happens when a large number of a given population is raised without a father. The males become undisciplined and destructive rather than constructive elements in society thus amplifying our problems at home as well.

Thus the need for a police state to maintain order and “make the trains run on time again” will become ever more apparent to the population as we become increasingly disorderly with all our issues.

Thus we have the makings of an increasingly totalitarian police state followed by an out right dictatorship, that is assuming of course we surive the foreign threats, and the domestic cutural threats, many of which coming from cultures quite failure with dictatorial power will probably only add to our problems.

The majority of people in this country are following an ideology they learned in our public schools which leads them and us to a cultural dead end. We should have payed a lot more attention to the schools 20 years ago before letting Marxist get into them turning our kids into their useful idiots.

If you want to salvage what we got left, we need to concentrate our power to where we can save the schools and thus the future, and then isolate our borders from those who will not conform.

Agree with much of what you say, but IMO the news media is the place to start - many people must become informed by the truth before any movement to reform schools can happen.

IIRC, Roberts did not vote to dissect DOMA. That was Kennedy.

Flo, stop confusing them with the facts.

You've obviously got it! Those "churches" you mention would be happy to perform the pagan rites, yet the sodomites will, naturally go to the bible preaching churches and demand their "rights, under the U.S. Constitution."

Then when refused they'll head to the courts to demand "satisfaction of removing their licenses and tax exemption."

It will never be marriage, regardless of what this insane government decrees in the death throes of western civilization.

The Supreme Court is currently made up of soft-minded, overly intellectual, morally bankrupt scum. Once the keystone of our society, the family, is erased - we are through with. The homosexual perverts have successfully destroyed a once great country. God help us all!

f) You can be damn sure that if the roles were reversed, and a state had passed legislation recognizing same-sex marriage and a judge had thrown it out and it went to the USSC, the USSC would certainly have taken the case to overrule that ‘misguided, unconstitutional judge.’

a ruling to be left on the ash heap of history ... but will the Court itself be cast upon that ash heap?

More and more likely ...

Oh yes, He will...

In the day of the Lord, people will call out to the mountains, "Fall on us! Cover us!"

In the meantime there's enough light for the men and women who wish to see the truth to see it, yet not so much that those who do not are overwhelmed.

Our nation, once great and godly, represents a broader Western civilization in its death throes.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus...
