Zero: hey, my Africanz! Worried about ebola? Get on over here to my statez, we hook you up!
Under the tongue traditional method is accurate.
They tried using rectal thermometers, but they found it had serious negative effects on African airlines business. Oddly enough, the flights to San Francisco were still quite busy.

That's retarded, sir.
By the time you get through the line to security your forehead wold be hot again.
You get Ebola and have enough money to fly anywhere in the world.
Where do you fly to?
Canada
UK
France
Russia
US
I’ve found the forehead thermometers inaccurate - they always seem to read low. Flushed kid, hot to the touch, 98.0 F. And Ebola virus is present in sweat, in every body fluid.
TSA should be able to take your temperature. It will give them something productive to do while they are all up in your ass anyway.
They will have to block airline travel from the region
A month ago
The stupidity is stupefying. They won’t take that necessary step until it’s too late
Oh yeah everyone with a temp is getting turned away. And after the bribe able sorry TSA agent has been exposed
It’s so embarrassing stupidity
I came back from 3 weeks in Africa just a few weeks ago, came in through JFK. No one asked me anything... just breezed on through.
You are assuming that people are suicidal, trying to hide their Ebola infection?
If they use the thermometers more than once each then they are spreading any Ebola they find. Foreheads can be sweaty or oily.
Why does the CDC own a patent on Ebola invention?

Forehead thermometers are likely just for confirmation. If they put up infrared cameras, a person with a fever sticks out in a crowd. This technology has been used for years.
So, if they see somebody who is hot, they pull them aside and put a thermometer on their forehead for a physical confirmation.
