It doesn't mean that he wasn't contagious. Scientists are not entirely sure about all the ways Ebola can be communicated. Deaths of many doctors in Africa are a clear proof of that - they were not protecting themselves enough. In the USA Ebola is studied in biosafety level 4 labs (the highest.)

Lagos is in Nigeria, not in Liberia. 972.46 miles as crow flies. He had to take a regional jet for that hop.
If anything, the information HELD BACK from the public only will lead to legitimate panic.

Not likely in plane air handler. Droplets are possible vector but they won’t make it through any reasonable filter. With the current virus the Nigerian in the plane killed a couple people who sat next to him, touched his puke, etc. He didn’t kill more than that.

Ive been to Urgent Care at Kaiser, trust me, you sit there for HOURS before you get to see a doctor, meanwhile, everyone is coughing and sneezing all around you. So everyone at that medical care facility this guy went to is now exposed, but the CDC won’t even say the name of the facility
At LAX ya got aircraft landing nearly every single minute....Like Dallas, Houston, NY, Seattle, Boston, Miami and on and on.
And the thought never occurred to the fat wealthy slobs who run the airlines they should immediately stop thousands from bailing out of Africa into the U.S., as they count their fat profits....

Anyone who flew and touched his bodily fluids. That depends on a lot of variables like him sneezing on things. There is probably no way to know how bad it is at this point. It may be nobody, it might be a few, it might be 100. I would guess the number is low however, from the Nigerian in the plane experience.
