I see more government induced domestic voilence in the future for California.
I’m sooooooooooooooooooooo shocked.
“who appears to pose a threat”
There’s a wide net...
Its a feeling I'm having more and more frequently, BTW.
Can’t separate the Clown from the Brown.
Welcome to the gulag, comrade. The children will be quizzed in school about their crazy gun owning relatives. There’s no chance that Kalefornians will survive their reeducation.
Worse, the escapees will try to do it all over again in the places they relocate and contaminate.
“911 what is your emergency?”
“My Sister’s husband had a bad day at work. Also, my sister wrecked their new mini-van this morning. My brother-in-law doesn’t know about it yet and he owns a gun. Please send an officer over there to get the gun before he finds out my sister wrecked their van.”
“Absolutely. What’s the address?”
If the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is a Constitutional Right, it can only be abridged by Court Action, no?
“”””It was proposed by several Democrats and responds to a deadly rampage in May”””””
Once again. Just like the painkillers issue... a few people mess up and the government punishes everyone.
Why not the knives? Didn’t he kill some with knives?
This could be a good reason to avoid family Thanksgiving parties. You can pick your friends but you cannot pick your relatives.
Which other parts of the Bill of Rights does Jerry Brown think are only at the pleasure of your extended family?
“Sorry Dad, no First Amendment for you, we think your speech is too radical”
Yep, the sun rose in the East today...
Another “feel good”, do nothing law that will only cause more problems...which is the intent.
If liberals can’t get take away your rights looking you in the eye they will sneak in through the back door and steal you blind.
So a vindictive relative or estranged spouse can really wreak havoc on a gun owners life.
Relative = Big Brother
And 50,000 divorce lawyers in California simultaneously licked their lips as he signed the bill. Oh yeah, that’s going to get abused right quick.
I agree with the concept of this bill. But all that would have changed would have been a few less people killed, and done nothing to those who were murdered in their own home with a knife.
Again, it is backwards, like any liberal idea - restrict the ‘evil item’ and ignore the deranged madman who would wield it. Had his guns been taken away, he likely would still have done his rampage, just more up close and personal, and quite possibly would have killed more people, as the first 911 calls came from those who heard the shots. A single baseball bat would certainly have killed quite a few.
Until we’re willing to recognize that there are people who are a danger everyone around them and actually do something about them, these rampages will continue.
A family member should ask a judge to remove Moonbeam’s pen he so can’t sign any more whacko legislation.
He said he was going to go shooting, I just had to stop him before he shot something.
